I've never done anything to you. Your behavior is very strange. I do like most of your work, but as a person, I don't really understand you...

I'm a very relaxed person actually. We would probably get along just fine in real life. Anyway, I did "unignore" you, so now you can entertain me again with your ratings 😃😉. Just don't give obvious cheap template tracks a 9/10 cuz really, it's frustrating and I will reconsider... 😝

As for your ratings on the album: I was happy you did not slate it with 2/10's! 😁

my man's an absolute enigma :sneaky:
Yeah and I really wanted an alias around "Enigma" but someone suddenly came in the world and ruined that plan. :ROFLMAO:

Thanks, I sometimes do rate, sometimes not. I don't recall giving any high ratings to template trance lately, in fact, I am not a fan of it as well, so we are on the same ship :)

Final review of the album - 8.5/10

Exceptional sounding productions, good variety with track selection and clear classic influences coming through. Some melodies too much on the nose for me and cheesy, such as Exploration 2000 and Rayo, but I love White Isles, Dark Forest, Ultimo, Into The Deep and Eclipsia.

The only thing missing is a collaboration with Enigma State.

Actually piloted that and/or a potential remix if memory serves, My man @EnigmaState has, however a bombfull scedule & shows and what not so that would either mean waiting an eternity or cramming it in there, which would unavoidably feel rushed and under quality.

Nice.
I don’t know who the person behind Redstar is.

I do have a tune of his that’s among my favorite “modern uplifters” that I still like to play and use in mixes, “Lost In A Dream”, great track from him.

I listened! I like the early 2000's old skool sound you have running through the album, espeically in the simple basslines, reminds me of some of the tracks you used to find on the Trancemaster/World Of Trance CDs. And obviously theres quite a lot of Airscape influence in there.

My favourite track would have to be Sol Eterno in terms of melody and flow - i just wasnt keen near the end of it,when it changed key.....and also Into The Deep stuck out for me as a more downtempo, slightly darker track. Its a nice album, and the tracks are diverse enough and different to make it an interesting listen, espeically if you like that certain early 2000's sound.

I had a listen to the album, in full, today on Bandcamp.

On one side, I have to say that this style was never really my thing, and my interest in trance is at an all-time low. So if I'm being honest, I will never be able to appreciate it fully.

But on the other side, even if you take into account my taste, the album is full of good tracks! My personal favourite is Dark Forest, it's so different than the rest and it's in a style I can relate to. There were some moments which I also quite liked in other tracks, especially the collabs with the TF residents.

And the pitch change at the end was also unexpected but cool!
I actually had a little doubt about keeping it or not, as the pitch change comes out of nothing, but @Jetflag wasn't hecitant at all when I asked him: keep!

I'm happy it's in there, it gives the track an extra layer, and also brings in some extra energy. Otherwise, the track might have been a bit too repetitive.

The test-vinyls sound amazing btw, Sol Eterno on loud volume, poah, I don't want to brag or anything, but this really is as if it's an old Svenson track you found. It sounds great!
