I’m not a huge fan of „Shadows”, inspired by „Insomnia” plucks (but it’s not a crap or copycat):

… but I really enjoyed a track with Adam Sobiech; proper classic N2O ✌️

„Shadows”, based on „Insomnia” plucks
calling those chords based on Insomnia is really reaching quite far, that's just generic trance chords. to be "Insomnia" inspired they had to have that specific timbre and vibe to the melody

the one from ASOT is more lively for sure

ps: the word Progressive in the title of this Enhanced sublabel gets absolutely pointless with their current direction

Shadows - Really like the way it swings into full gear after 'So how am I know to know' verse (energetic and memorable with a good punch).

Critical Point - Old N20 style with a bit of Kandi/Timmus playful vibes reminiscent to his Anjuna classics.

9/10 for the EP.

Enjoying both tunes, Critical Point slightly more. Ofc length wise it's on the shorter side but it's still really cool. Surprised Adam Sobiech is involved in that too since he usually produces more progressive stuff, like they did with their last collab.

For Shadows, Genie sounds a bit different compared to her previous collab with N2O "Fly", but still digging the groove on that one :)

Exactly! Uplifting tunes with “Progressive” in the label name makes no sense with their current direction. Should be on main Enhanced Recordings

Yeah it confused me too, the only reason I can think of atm is that it was their Trance label since the main Enhanced Recordings label moved away from it in late 2014 (while still releasing Trance from time to time). They have different A&R's too: I know Farius was the A&R for both EnProg & Colorize but not the main label, although I'm sure if he still is after he stopped hosting Enhanced Sessions :)

the melody in critical point is nice but kind of difficult to follow, some parts feel off rhythmically. I wish he kept it better structured
