pure seriousness .. 'Mike Push' should take some inspiration from 'Movimento'
Part 3 & 4 pivot towards the dancefloor, presenting four tracks of driving, progressive techno. This transition from meditative ambient to hypnotic rave is executed with precision, showcasing Tagliabue's versatility. These cuts are designed for late-night immersion, while maintaining the album's overall sense of depth and trance and channeling a deep, immersive rave experience.

The album as a whole is a sophisticated sound collage, highlighting Tagliabue's mastery of sonic manipulation. The dense sonic flow, characterised by echoes of distant temples and molten synthetic modulations, creates a compelling auditory and potentially visual experience. The interplay between organic and synthetic, combined with the album's thematic depth, makes Espansione a noteworthy evolution in Joseph’s artistic expression. A work designed to be both deeply listened to, and physically experienced.

Movimento sounds like Push under one of his darker alias, cool track :) Riflesso is also quite cool :)

Movimento sounds nice, but doensn't do anything or go anywhere. Missed potential, it could have been really good. Same for Ridlesso. Good foundation, no journey or idea coming through.

Movimento missed the peak but nevertheless a good Push 99' esque track.

for the last 6 years, fast melodic wannabe Techno with a huge emphasis on the drop has probably been the most hated genre on the scene. I think that atmospheric deep tracks that go ''nowhere'' act as a sort of antithesis to all of this, serving more as a tool for homogeneous sets.. maybe boring for home listening but effective tools for clubs for sure..

Maybe yes a response to big room techno, but also it's just a lack of vision on the producers part. The old scene never had this problem, it could be subtle and interesting, it wasn't a choice between the two. Atmosphere is one thing, but music is another. No one remembers this.

pls go to discogs and do your homework

I don't follow. If you mean, there was bad and boring music back then, then of course. But the scene people discussed, followed, shared and celebrated was bursting at the seems with interesting deep music.
