Anyone who knows Peter Steele knows he's one of the nicest, most genuine people in the music industry. He's also become one of my close friends, which makes this even more heartbreaking.
Peter has recently had his home broken into, with all of his records, computers, music equipment, unfinished music and personal belongings that cannot be replaced, stolen or destroyed.
For someone who has dedicated so much of his life to music, this is absolutely devastating. He's understandably struggling to come to terms with what's happened and has already had to pull out of his upcoming ADE performance.
I'm setting up this fundraiser to help Peter get back on his feet, replace some of what he's lost and hopefully take a little bit of the financial pressure off him during an incredibly difficult time.
Peter is someone who has given so much to the music community, and it would be great if we could all show him some love and support during this time.
