It sounds like a techno inspired track to me, but I do like it, just about.

He plays it for so long now, glad it's finally released. Experienced it at least 3 times played live by him, and man, what a floorfiller it is on the dancefloor.

Yeah, I also hear The First Rebirth in it, but actually that is a good thing. To make something classic sounding like this nowadays, without sounding old or completely copied.

Great job by the legend!

And I wish all producers had such a variety in productions like Ferry. I mean, if you release Bring Me Back To Life, How I Miss You and Persiste in a row, such a diversity, wow!

when I spotted a reference to 'J&S,' I decided to give it a listen ...and the only result is that I’m just really disgusted..

I get that there are massive parties everywhere these days, packed with 20 year old kids who might listen to something completely different in their own time, but they have seen on all social media just how 'cool' it is to be at such an event.
the music there is the same crap that was called 'kirmes techno' in Germany 30 years ago (kirmes = fairground) .. highly melodic music, high-BPM, cover version of well known tracks... absolutely not my world.

but back in the day, this kind of -fairground- music was played by 20 year old djs for other 20 year olds kids. then now this modern thing that 50year old guys aka men who dye their gray hair, playing this kind of music to satisfy the masses? that just strikes me as truly gross. a dj should be broadening horizons, not catering in a primitive way to the least demanding members of the crowd.

I recently heard an interview with a let’s call him legendary German DJ. he recounted that, during his set, a girl came up to the booth and asked, "should we actually know the tracks you're playing?" he replied, "of course not." she shot back, "then why are you playing them?"

if we let this kind of mindset win, then in a few years, everyone might as well just pack it in we could just install giant AI jukeboxes everywhere instead.

yeah I will never again listen to a 'FC' track, I swear.)

Oh, I’ve just realized that this one was enjoyable to me 1,5 years ago; well, currently it’s too fast; during this time too much trance meets speed garage tracks were released and I’m probably too tired of this style rn (excluding a few examples like Modea)

It's very, very good indeed! Don't mind the fast bpm, it's a very trancy track. I can close my eyes and feel it, like the old fast bpm trance tracks. It's smiple sounds and melody fits it beautifully. As said above, a great outro track.

Waiting for its release to listen it properly.

I think you've over analysed this imo 😂 instead of congratulating Ferry's ability to adapt and successfully put out a modern take on a 30 year old tune, you've torn him apart 😮‍💨
