Outer Pulse - Ethereal Glyph / Gravity Lights [Touchstone Recordings] [2015]

Two of my personal favorites of 2015. Made by Venezuelan brothers Joan & Vincent Bautista. Ethereal Glyph was featured on Solarstone's Electronic Architecture 3.

Ethereal Glyph:

Gravity Lights:

Outer Pulse are two brothers from Venuzuela & have garnered a loyal fanbase with their warm, organic bassline-driven meticulously layered & unique sound. First up is ‘Ethereal Glyph’, taken from Solarstone’s ‘Electronic Architecture 3’ compilation. It’s deep, sultry undertones, ethereal vocals & minor chord changes make this one for those long, sweaty heads-down #138bpm club nights. On the flip side & the uplifting tip is ‘Gravity Lights’, where gated pads & a glistening lead synth-line are thrust into the spotlight.

Really like this release and much of what Outer Pulse does. Did you check their fairly recent remix of Knights of Cygnus? It's Great.

Fantastic tunes, both of them.

I have a preference for Gravity Lights.
The way it features multiple melodic chapters
is rare and sooo satisfying.

You think it's done and then that
magical second breakdown at 5:20 enters.

A counter melody ensues on the drop,
all the way until the outro starts.

I remembered this track after years, it's one of those
magical productions I keep returning to.
