Krzysztof Pretkiewicz, better known as Nitrous Oxide has come a long way since exploding onto the scene with ‘North Pole’ and ‘Frozen Dreams’ but on the evidence of this latest double A-Side the original ethos of producing euphoric and uplifting trance is still very much the number one priority. Kicking off proceedings is ‘Show Me’, a typically muscular number which draws on an atmospheric, serene breakdown before bursting into life with a combination of heavy-duty rhythms and delightful keys to create a chorus of epic proportions.
Turn over to the punchy, brooding ‘Magenta’ and you’ll find further evidence of the diversifying Nitrous Oxide sound as Krzysztof weaves together female vocals, trademark synths and stampeding beats, all of which are held in place by a chunky, throbbing, bassline that immediately evokes fond memories of Aalto’s hybrid monster ‘5’. If you find yourself struggling to decide which of these two beauties to spin, rest assured that you’re onto a winner whichever decision you make!

True that,, saying it for more than a year that they should sign more fresh artists. Lost interest in the label ages ago.

Agree with most of you, the Nitrous sound is just too much right now. I don't find this song innovative at all, just sounds like another N20 songs.. A bit boring yes.
Shouldn't the B-side be "Your Soul", or how was it?

Its my understanding that another Nitrous Oxide track is being released as a B-Side and its more anjunadeep-ish. Looking forward to hearing that, but 'Show Me' is a really poor track.

hmm, i doubt that it's going to sound like an Anjunadeep-track.... maybe more like Cornflake, not that uplifting as his others?

Thats funny, i could have sworn that's the name of one of Michael Cassettes new tracks on anjuna. Its just what i read on the Anjuna forum, that those who heard "Magenta" said it was an anjunadeep track. Im sure we will hear it on TATW this week or next week.
