Edit: Forum upgrade (completed)

Hello everyone,

Time has come to upgrade the forum to the latest software.
Most likely we will perform the upgrade this sunday

Downtime is expected, and the forum style might be gone after the upgrade.

We will keep you up to date when the upgrade is being performed.

edit:

Upgrade will be done today, 5PM GMT+1 Amsterdam.

Upgrade completed.
We ended up with a bare naked plugin-less forum.

If you run into any problems, post them here or e-mail them to info@trancefix.nl

Unfortunaly some data, and the profile section can't be transfered over to the new forum. Which is not really a big problem since it's too complicated anyways :)

A new, better - profile system will be added soon again

It will take a while getting used to this interface. (I prefer the old one though)

PS: The quick reply doesn't work so I had to click on quote or "post reply" in order to make a post.

Unfortunately there was no way to transfer them to the new version.
We will replace the old profile system with a new, most important, better one. - old data is impossible to restore.

we needed a new software update as the old one caused many errors with various browsers both for regular users and moderators. This update has more possibilities (check THIS out) than the old one especially with new plugins for this vbulletin version. The skin you see right now can be (and i think will be) changed so dont care about the looks right now. The process is not that fast as its humans and not machines who are working on that update.

Sky blue + White = Where's the vomit emoticon? I have faith though that we'll be back to some rocking color schemes soon enough. And on the plus side at least the signature data was saved.

Yes, it's true that it's not so beautiful what it used to be, but this new one is more functional.

me too!! some data is just lost, I can't see where is everybody from and I don't like at all new forum :protest:, Is there any way to get back to the old one??

of course no. the upgrade was just done. The forum right now is bare and it will take time to get some things back the way they were. Stop being used to the daily routine and enjoy some new things happening around you...
