[update] Upgrade TranceFix completed

Upgrade part 1 completed.

The upgrade took longer then I had planned and it's getting rather late here (4am) so
we're back to basics for now, everything should work (if not, let us know!) but the design and 'extra' functions we had are gone for now.

I'll be working some more on all this tomorrow and the rest of the week to have things restored. - After that we will start working on our new plans we have for Trancefix; the whole reason why we had to upgrade. - More on this later.

Howdy people!

This weekend we'll be working on upgrading TranceFix.
- Vbulletin upgrade
- OS (security) updates

Downtime can be expected.

Our current forum software plugins / design is not compatible with the newer forum software so we'll end up with a plain boring designed forum but this should be for a short while only.

Im liking the new design, it reminds me somewhat of the oldest TF back in 2006, but in a Martin Roth Nu-Style touch like :D

Nope, I don't like the new design at all.. It is.. too light/squary, and I liked the small nuances in color.. and most important: the :) smiley changed :s
But I will live with it :)

The only thing that really bothers me is that I get headaches (on the lowest brightness of my screen!)of how light the background of the forum is now, too many bright colors

new designs are always just a matter of getting used to them. use the site for a week or two and you'll love it again.

Not bad. I kinda like it tbh. Well done.

EDIT: it looks quite hectic tbh.

one thing i noticed is that the links in the notification emails take you to the right thread and page, but not actually to the right (first unread) post, per '#' page anchor...

old skin is better :P

To be clear; this is not the final design.. this is a somewhat DEFAULT design after the upgrade.
I had no time anymore to be spending more time on it and will be working on it the rest of the week.

There are still a lot of other things and bugs that need to be sorted and smoothed out.

1click? everytime i clicked "Reply to Thread" it always led me to Advanced...

...

well umm.. the letters just dont look "smooth" ..but thats also due to the cursive
quote bubble looks bit pixeley coz its tryin to be "round" .. the edges really stand out
