About Active Limbic System
Active Limbic System is a trance group which was created about a year ago from the Greek duo of George Tripas and Mixalis Patakas.
In early 2011 a new member joined us,Anthony Salvate from New York.
Their common passion and love for trance music make them to create this group and connect their talent to produce their favourite music.
George Tripas was born in Athens at 1978,his first listenings in trance music started in early 90swhere he was influenced by LSG,Cygnus-x,Paraglyders and many more.At summers during his holidays he was a radio producer at a local radio station in South Evia playing all the Dance Hits of the season and his show was calling Music Power.Two years ago in his birthday and at his celebration partyhe met Michael Patakas and their freindship begun really strong.One day they decide to form Active Limbic System and to start producing trance tunes.
Michael Patakas was born in Chalkida at 1981,in his teenage period he was influenced very much from psy trance,his best groups were Astral Projection,Talamasca,Etnica,Man with no name,Prana and many more from that scene.He was producing tracks for 10 years now but never thought to release them.His first touch with balearic&uplifting trance music started about 3 years ago during his military obligation where he first listened to tunes from Sunny Lax and Above&Beyond.Then follows his meeting with George two years ago who persuade him that he has a great talent so they both connect their love and passion for trance deciding toproduce tracks together.
Anthony Salvate, born 1985 from New York, has been involved with electronic music since 2002. Beginning with the Guitar, Anthony knew he had an ear for music. After falling in love with the sound of Trance/ Progressive, Anthony had decided it wasn't enough to just listen, but it was time to make. During is first year of college, Anthony began experimenting with sound and sequencing…. and the music soon followed. George and Michel had discovered Anthony's talent, and brought him on board the trio……….. Active Limbic System.
