haha....Yeh i use Fl Studio, Sound Forge for editing samples, Waves and way too many VST's to list here.

Agree, DAW makes no difference, all about what you do with it! (and obviously a few good synths can help too).

Definitely progressive. Yes, I'll be busy in the next month because of my secondary school finals, but I guess I could take an hour or two daily just for that.

So who's gonna start? I always have a couple of ideas going on, but we can also share screens on Skype just to see if we both like the ideas. What do you say? :D

Got quite a lot of trance productions i'd love to hear what the trance community thinks!! :D

I currently have a remix project of Tegan & Sara's "Closer" going right now - I don't have too much of it fleshed out just yet, but I love what I have so far. 140 bpm, with a massive, reverb-heavy sound reminiscent of Eco circa 2009. I should hopefully have that done by the time people here have enough tracks for the project.

i have very limited time now with a new job search my main focus has been on that...getting little practice in here and there and making a lot of improvements but the truth is i just don't have enough time with a full time job, mentor, relationship, extensive resume work, and life in general...

i did start working on a brand new track this morning and it's sounding badass so far after my buddy gave me some tips...so i'll finish this project cuz it's coming out ok so i'll keep rolling with it...not sure when tho lol

For a reason I'd rather not describe work on it has currently been halted, but hopefully that will change soon. I should hopefully have it completely done by mid-July, though mixing it so it'll actually sound good will be the hardest part (still an amateur with that).

The real problem is always the pesky mids between about 300 and 1000 hz. The life in 90% of most any sound is in there, and getting them to mesh such that the track still sounds expansive and you're still able to hear most of the elements in it can be quite a pain in the ass. I'm trying not to use too many elements in this specific project in order to give it more space and so far I've fleshed out a really good first 2.5 minutes, but I only just got to the vocal. That's the other hard part for me - making sure my songs aren't too long and drawn out (the first I ever produced was 14 minutes!)

@Phonix Well, jus wanted to check where we all are regarding the Productions for the TranceFix Music Channel. Seemed like it got neglected, that's all. :)

Also, im working on a track with another member, and also a track or two of my own.

But maybe i could do a remix of any of your tracks or something. :)

@Halon I'd be happy to send in some tracks for the productions music channel to be played in some mixes or something. Do you guys run a radio station channel aswell?
Be keen to work on an original collab or something instead of a remix?

Still need lots of work, the layout is pretty much done, but still needs tweaking in the mixing and eq-ing area. The track itself doesn't really have a standard kind of 'break'. Halfway the beat fades out and the main melody starts playing and after that the main melody continues and the beat plays again.

But as usual I fail to stay focused on one track :nooo:

Radio station? Nah, we aren't that organized (and popular) yet. And that requires donations, right? :D

A Youtbe and a SoundCloud channel works best at this point.
