I'll try hard to finish my own stuff, it's holiday season, not all of you are working, studying etc. Professional producers that get their stuff released can send their tracks that they don't intend on selling (if they want), any bootlegs, mash-ups, originals, anything within the trance genre is appreciated, full original mixes, intro mixes, radio edits, teasers... As for the DJ mixes, they can either be weekly 30-minute-long podcasts or 1 hour mixes (be it classics, new stuff, or something in between).
It's a rather long post, but we've been just discussing this for 2 years! It's high time something becomes of this. WHO'S IN? Should I create this over the coming days? We must have something to upload when I create it which means at least one example of everything I just wrote.
Anything you want to change, if you agree, if you have something for the channel, anything, just write. Seriously.

Just one question, all genres within trance are going to be accepted?
Just waiting for more responses from other members as well, hopefully everything goes well. If so, it will be done in a few days. I feel right now, the cover photos are something that's really important. Of course, it's really going to help us, can't be bad to be heard and to hear some feedback.Quote:

If anyone has a track with a nice melody then I'm always interested in remixing it :) I can't promise something good will come out of it but lately remixes are going great with me :) so if you've got something just PM me a midi or send it to maickeluitassen@hotmail.com and I'll see what i can do :) (and of course it'll always be labeled as Remix, I would never 'steal' something like that).
I'll just say in advance that more active users will get priority and I will try to always send a message back whether the remix works out or not.
I wish I could do more for the channel/forum but with a job and little kid it's sometimes tough to find time for producing ;)
And imo there should also be a 'rule' as to who can send tracks. (I don't know if this was mentioned before). So only tracks by certain users, it doesn't have to be ppl with at least 100 posts but just so to keep ppl out who are only here to post their track and no other activity like in the user made productions section
And about the genre's on the channel: Trance should of course be the focus but imo there's nothing wrong with some other genre's as long as it comes close to any trance sub genre.
Maybe one of the pll who writes articles for the front page could write a 'This week/month in TF music' kinda article.
@*Maickel* Great ideas! Didn't think about that at all, it would be nice to force forum activity in order to have your tracks or mixes uploaded. That would maybe lessen the contributions in the start... About the article, I completely agree. Someone may write short reviews for the front page, on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis. Thanks for the ideas. :)
I'm working now on a remix for Andrew Rayel, so didn't really worked on singles nowadays.
I'd be down for it if you'd accept such newbish company as me, but I mostly make wubwubs now..
On a more serious note if you'd like I can send over my next five upcoming releases, that you can feature once they hit promo to get the project kicking. - If they don't suck too much...

I was hoping that before we start, we'd have everything prepared (photos, sections/threads, already a few mixes and tracks etc)... Unfortunately I can't do all that (lack of knowledge and I'm not a mod/admin), so I thought we should just start it and eventually people will become more interested and make contributions. Not the way I wanted or imagined it would work (perhaps it is just me OCD-ing), but it's got to work somehow. If someone wants to create the cover picture, it doesn't have to be anything complicating, and all ideas are appreciated, it just has to contain trancefix.nl and the logo, and what's in the background is up to you.
