Pretty excited by the news, that for the first time, the Yes vote for Scottish independence is leading in the polls this morning. While its just by 2% (many believe its more due to the bias of the media) its evident that the no camp feel that they are losing their grasp as they have put together a package known as the "devolution convention" that will offer, if we vote no, us more power - a bribe so to speak. Where was this offer when the No vote was winning by a substantial margin just 2 or 3 months ago? This is no more than a cheap attempt to buy us off and claw back those lost votes. The prospect that we can do this is finally becoming a reality. :turbospin:
Please don't go, we'll miss you ...

It will be sad to see Scotland go, if they vote Yes. I personally think Scotland will be worse off for leaving...having said that, to be governed by Westminster should send anyone running, those bunch of corrupt and useless wankers. Wouldnt blame the Scotts for voting 'Yes'.
Might be going back to school, there's a course I need before I can apply for college.
Most of you are probably not interested in the Scottish referendum, or even really care so i apologise in advance for subjecting you to my spiel, but it is what's on my mind.
There was a rather a peculiar headline in the The Guardian today regarding the referendum which read: "Will a new royal baby save the union?" Eh? Maybe it will prevent global warming, cure cancer or even bring world peace too. Some of the absolute drivel that has been written and passed of as 'journalism' during this debate is laughable. That one genuinely had me perplexed today.
I also noticed that the Better Together camp's latest argument is based on the decline of Scottish stocks. Stocks rise and fall every day, this just happens to be the day that they have chosen to adopt this argument and select their preferred companies e.g. companies with stocks that have fallen. What about companies stocks that have risen over the last week? Yet, what seems to be another feeble attempt at scaremongering.
And @Hensmon, i also believe that we may be worse off for a period. Im not under the impression that it will bring change over night. Were probably talking years here, but i genuinely believe things will come good and it will reform things in such a way that my children will have a better future. I like to think I'm/we're taking one for the team here. And in the unlikely event that it does go tits up ill stay in my little corner of Northern Ireland and tell everyone i voted no anyway. :biglaugh:
Very much interested to see how Scotland votes especially since the yes vote has picked up real momentum.
Heading over to Glasgow in November for 3 nights, hoping to get to the Ireland game in Celtic Park. Scotland is a great place I must say.
OMG @Darren that puppy is so adorable...

My dog. I have to go to another city 80 km far from my village to study, and he'll stay with my family. I'm going to miss his silly snout so much. :(
VERY exciting day and week ahead! I'm starting to gather all the information that I need in order to market my business...it's SUCH a tedious task but nothing will stop me from achieving my goal of being financially independent and self reliant...
It's 5 AM and I'm still going strong at this gathering of market data that I need to execute my plan...I can't wait start :D
A friend of mine organized a party at a local pub (otherwise I wouldn't come), and there was barely anyone there, partly because of France - Serbia basketball semi-final game I don't give a shit about. Came home after 2 hours, bored.
At long last, I finally have the effects plugin I've wanted for years - BT & iZotope's Stutter Edit!! 'Tis on sale for 40% off until the end of the month :D
I bought because I decided to pull out of a remix contest in which I could have won it and other things, since it's due Monday and I'm only about half done - didn't want to sacrifice my entire weekend to it and all. Other opportunities will come....
have a TON of work ahead of me...i'm so focused mannnnnn
Noticed that there is substantially less DJ Mag Top 100 spam being promoted by DJ's this year. I think most of them have finally come to their senses and realised what a laughing stock it is. There's no doubt that if you're featured on that list then you can probably demand a larger fee but when you see some of the names on it it doesn't do a great deal for your credibility.
Yea noticed same thing, i actually think that in a longer run we will see this Top 100 list actually separated between genres, which may or may not be a good thing. BUt i think that for majority of non-bigroom big festival audiences, this chart has lost more or less all credibility as it nowadays its not about DJs but its about what type of music do they play in Tomorrowland or Ultra Music or whatever festival.
Not even sure how long the "trancefamily" fanatics will bother voting Armin, but then again i think he is gaining more audience from the bigroom crowd as his selection of tracks as well as own productions (like Ping Pong) are already borderline there.
Most of trance fans will either vote for Armin or not vote at all, so i can imagine another big drop for rest of trance Djs.
Damn. Slept till 20.00 today! 'Ehrmagherd!
Champions League time!
Can't wait for my team Roma to return tomorrow though, but interested in today's game as well.
Really nice weather today. :)
