Hello everyone! After listenting to the Kayosa & Tolland teasers for their forthcoming album, i am very impressed! It sounds old school but still modern and far away from steroid trance. I am glad that this sound still exists in these days. However, I am a bit out of the modern trance scene (I...

Before rising to commerical stardom with 'Dream Makers', KUFFDAM & PLANT produced hq underground trance which sounded like early ANTIDOTE or PLANISPHERE. This germ is from 2004 and was featured by John 00 Fleming as well as the TranceAddict community back in the day. Nevertheless, it remained...

Surprise, surprise. :) I am not a big fan of Iboga since they became more and more generic in the past few years. So I just listened to this release with half an ear but suddenly became impressed! Great DEKEL / SquareBass style here. Kind of original Isratrance but in a more serious way. No...

Great refined Psytrance from Oslo, Norway, just released on the aspiring Flux Collective label. A 4-tracker from the label's co-founder Ottersbo. Really reminds me of Liquid Soul's peak between 2008 - 2018. No cheese here just good modern trance with nostalgic psyfeel. Well recommended! (Ten...

new killer ep from space trax. all tracks are great but I personally love the non-melodic 'Tynan'. Very trippy, modern oldschool trance.

First release of the new Armenian label Stardust and yes - and wohoo they already start with an small label comp of 7 tracks! Armenia (as well as Georgia) are aspiring countries for a new substyle of trance music which combines the production skills from the late 90s/early 00s era (Classic...

Another germ from Oslos's Flux Collective, this time from Ottersbo (one half of Skodde) who already gave us a great 'drum 'n bass trance' track at Flux' recent label compilation. Once again, typical high quality minimalistic fast trance sounds for which the label stands for since foundation...

... Forget the Soho, Stagediver and Donald & Giles Mixes.... There is only one you should really recognize and that is the EXOR ORIGINAL MIX. Without doubt this version has one of the best trance intros in the whole genre and it's timeless. <3 The named intro can also be heard in both Exor...

Shortly before steroid trance had overflooded the trance gates for good, there was this little jewel released on Discover in early 2015. You can argue that this one already has some steroid vibes but in my mind, it is still trancy and still more classic Discover style... This was one of the last...

b-side of the well known 'evolver' single. yes we all know the big DE NIRO classic 'mind of man' but this track is criminally underrated so give a listen! Classic Chris Cowie quality (this time in a more upliftin' way) Released in '96 on the UK cult label Hook Recordings.

New gold from Zenon. Organic trance music mixed with some Ukranian folklore sounds and contains some nice trippy basslines. Pure old fashioned Merkaba style, hard to find nowadays. Enjoy!

Obscure project by Steve Gibbs: The A side is the winner. Golden melancholic trance music with an touch of late 90s UK Progressive. Real germ.

Obscure Spanish project from the 90s, also goes by the name POLARIS. On the one side, this track is sooo 97s European Style but excellent in production and...well, surprises. The UFO Mix is the real gern and worth the name ;P I will not reveal too much, just listen to the complete 9 minutes and...

Pretty sure that nearly everone knows the DJ Isaac remix. But the real winner here is the QUARCK & DJ SAN Remix! Be careful: Listen to this masterspiece ONLY on headphones (and on the 12'' at best) to get the full experience. It's an unbelievable trance track and one of the best remixes in...

... no thread yet? okay... ...Is this the best trance cover of all time....? Maybe. But for me this is the one. Every second of it. This cover of the eponymous The KLF song is nothing but perfection. It's so well produced that even ~20 years later, still unbeaten. I like to show this 10 minute...

Let's talk about one of the most underrated trance tracks of all time. no doubts here. Unbelievable that this one was once played in ASOT by Mr Armin Van Buuren back in 2005 huh? Yes, unbelivable. At least from a 2025 view. it's just simple: Finnish trance god meets Swedish Trance god so they...

Cult-crossover between Techno, Trance and Goa-Trance as the artist title already reveals it. But beware, its extremely trippy! Goa Experience was (more or less) the precursor of famous goatrance act 'Asia 2001'. The a side 'Ekinoxe' is one of the most obscured tracks ever because even it was...

Back to the 'Age Of Love' groundbreaking year '92 (at least when we speak of the legendary Jam&Spoon Remix and not the blandy original) there was another bomb being released in that infamous year. TRILITHON's cult album, containing the terms 'Trance' and 'Dance' in it, was a very fun and early...

A complete artist album and one of the very last outstanding J00f releases before the quality went down. https://www.discogs.com/de/release/8737854-Robert-Elster-Still-Breathing This one is from Summer 2016 and of course this is mostly Vibrasphere style at its very best! Nearly every track is a...
