Hi guys,
Pardon me if this has been previously discussed on TF but I really wanted to know the fees and charges made by all the great DJs for a show... the expenses for organizing a 2-3 day event in different country and a DJ's accomodation ...etc.
Anyone lending an accurate information would be of great help to me!
Maybe anyone into Trance events can help me with this.
Thanks.![]()

Ive heard figures of $10.000 - $20.000 for an evening (few hours spinning). For 2-3 days.... probably a bit more. They usually just fly in and leave right after to the next event

Alright... I was reading somewhere on TF that Tiesto charges around $ 1,50,000 and PvD around $ 1,00,000 for a show?
Does Tiesto perform in clubs with a minimal crowd? I mean Tiesto does open air shows right?
Is it?

around 1 million for a show? no, that can't be realistic. you have to think what the fans are paying for tickets too, a portion goes to the dj ontop of the original booking fee of course, but over 1 million is just too steep I believe. I'm going to agree with 2030, around 20-30 thousand dollars. I know of a few where PVD and Tiesto did around 120 thousand, to spin and set up for about 4 hours.

its all bollxs to me

Just like Tiësto and Fatboy Slim did in past... Above & Beyond are going to play for free here in Brazil...
A fill years ago Fatboy Slim played for free on Copacabana Beach, and play almost every year on Carnival in Bahia for free too...
By the beginning of this year Tiësto played on the very same beach as he described on his website as "The legendary Copacabana Beach" and over 200 Thousand people went to his venue...
Now its going to be Above & Beyond time to do the same... but in a very special ocasion... They are going to play @ the New Year Eve... and Copacabana is famous for it celebration (and mainly for they fireworks)... And well with A&B playing I guess it is going to be over-the-top
The point is... Sure there are sponsors, investors (and the artists wish too)... And of course they are going to go back home with some cash on they pocketbut better for us that are going to enjoy for free
Cheers!

for the top five dj's, depending on the set time and venue, i hear its around $200,000

low level dj's, like the new york circuit dj's get like $10,000 a set, and most aren't even on the dj mag list
