I think most of people in western culture do not realize that being homosexual was punishable offense in Eastern block, Ten Walls is from Lithuania which is also catholic country in addition.
So it has much more to do with how someone was raised rather than if he is just an asshole, if your entire childhood you are being told that being gay is evil and should be cured, i wouldnt put the blame only on person, but the society he was raised in.
It's not about society anymore when you are an adult and can make up your own mind. The original posts he made were really out of line and in my eyes are not excusable to be ignored. I'm very glad he got banned from the festivals and the record company terminated their contract with him.

Yes of course, i am just saying there is more in the backround then just someone being an asshole, this is an attitude i see alot in EE, mainly from older generation, but if you have been growing up in that type of mentality, it may be hard to get rid of.

I'm guessing it's like sports a little bit. Imagine Martin Garrix being gay with his cute face. Would the girls lose interest and therefor he would not be a big star earning millions of euros? It MAY be, so that's why the few gay-arists and athletes that obviously are somewhere, will hide it and collect money first.
