Or are you just going to get the plain old lame box o'chocolates?

ALSO, do you think this holiday is overrated? Do you think it is just a commercial holiday? Meaning that its just a day for businesses to rake in money? you know, "help" the economy?

Cause I do. Love cannot compare to candy or gifts.

Yeah it is a hugely overrated money making scheme. But the females like it so why not indulge a bit. Mr and Miss Freeman are going for an evening baloon ride followed by a romantic dinner

it is TOO comercialised.... i think that when you are with someone, you should show your love every day with every thing you do - advice, help, doing shopping, repairing the kitchen sink or whatever. sex is not enought ot show that, the saem with box of chocolate bought for valentines...

to show that you care, one day per year is simply too rare...

however, i planned a few nice things when i meet my Special Someone when i'm back in Lodz. it will be a few days after valentines, but still intentions count

I won't boguht anything in Valentines Day to my girlfriend because If you love your girlfriend you spend 365 days by year demostrating your love to her...not only one day buying a material thing.

If one person loves another, there is no need for a special day to show this love.

Anyways, I think I'll give my girlfriend a rose. It's not expensive and she can feel she got something on valentines day

BTW this holiday is overrated no doubt... but the meaning of the date is what matter most and its about demonstrating love... on our day-by-day ppl forget to do that... no matter what... so... thats a way to remind people to say how they enjoy the other person something people call "LOVE"

It's kind of commercial but you got to give in to that this day is special and that's it's always nice to feel extra special...yeah, I know...you should always show your girlfriend that she's special...well, I do, but I want to show her that she's even more special than she thinks...

Well, I have this thing where I send a sms to Michaela nad tell her that I can see her...although I'm home...far away from her :P so on thursday I will do so too...but this time I will be there with a big bouqet of deep red roses and white lilies (a) so that she will really special...and this I will do in front of her classmate and other people who are there in the halls (a)

I just hope that she appreciates this...

and later, in the evening I'll take her to a nice restaurant...that is if her crazy dad allows her to do so...it's a loooong story but her dad is f**ked up...seriously...was about tó make thread about him on NYE...

Me and my girlfriend separated like 2 days before Valentine's Day, but still i bought her a present, not because of Valentine's Day but because her birthday was on 15 after VDay. I bought her a nice blouse(kind of an elegant t-shirt ) a silver bracelet that looks like barbed wire, flowers and a card. All the items were her style and she said she likes them a lot but that this wouldn't change anything between us. I was hoping to change her mind a little with this gift (10% maybe :-J) but anyway, this is how the bracelet looks like
