Yeah, valentines day is too comercialised. It's good to have a special day when everyone cares a bit extra for the ones they love but it's too much these days. It's all about spending loads of money on presents.

If one person loves another, there is no need for a special day to show this love.

Anyways, I think I'll give my girlfriend a rose. It's not expensive and she can feel she got something on valentines day
