Personally, I only like Valentines Day, If Im not single, although my gfs and I have celebrated it in the past. Although it is a day when sales make money, it is special to me, but i do believe that any day can be 'valentines day'. I try and surprise my bf Freeman on other days which aren't an occasion.I have a very sweet surprise lined up for Freeman , sorry I cant share it. I have only bought a couple of gifts, just something little, which will help me with my surprise.

I have to agree that it has been so comercialized nowadays. Girls expect a huge setup, got to have flowers, expensive dinner & god forbid if you've been together for awhile because then that means jewelry. I hope this doesn't make me sound bitter.

It's just the way it is. But if a guy doesn't want to spend to much money on presents, it's a good idea to start small. Girls expect more and more stuff so if you buy something small in the beginning (a rose maybe) then you won't need to spend shitloads of cash

well.... i know it's commercialised but that's the fault of consumerism.
most of the girls have very high expectations and i sometimes don;t understand them.

for me, the best present is just sincere one and imaginative, like for example:
    - one rose with strange color (you buy a very light flower, then put it into a vase with colored water and you can have a blue rose)
    - the guy can cook a dinner, nothing very-terribly-monstrually difficult, maybe chicken with salad and a bit od wine, candles and good music (for me, that's better than every expensive restaurant)
    - you can read sth on the web about massage and then use it on your girlfriend, you just need a bit of oil and your hands, and gentle touch

sometimes presents are not all you have to offer.

and, it makes me feel embarrased to receive expensive gifts.

At this valentine i gave my boyfriend Armani aqua di gio after shave balsam and man's bag, he gave me armani remix parfum and roses, and we went to hotel, we were in sauna and in swimming pool, i had great time with him. but if we hadn't went to hotel and if he had given me one rose only, i would be still very happy because i love him so so so much and i think that valentine's day is comertional. i think that real holiday is BIRTHDAY only!!

Cause I do. Love cannot compare to candy or gifts.
So do I. I think you should love your girlfriend in everyday in the year as much as you can. I like better anniversary than valentines day.

It's so typical of these times that a day dedicated to love is being rejected for being 'commercial'. Actually, I love it. At first I thought it was commercial too. But I've changed my mind. Of course companies and such are trying to make you buy lots of gifts for the one you love. But another way of looking at it is that you just have way more options nowadays. If you do it right, think about quality instead of quantity, and give it a personal touch, you're able to celebrate love even more than usually on Valentine's Day. And besides that, it's somewhat of an honour to receive a Valentine's card right? So even if you love someone but you aren't certain or really don't have a clue if that person loves you back, it's still one of the best moments to show that person that you love him/her. Send a card, write something personal (it can be small and simple) and spread the love

P.S.: No I'm not being sponsored by those companies :P
My first track, let me know what you think!

Please give me feedback, I want to get better

Oh and don't be afraid to go to my Facebook page and hit like button, it's there for a reason

I used to think it was a marketing ploy of sorts, but its a good day in general (mainly if you're attached or interested in someone)
