    training/working out

    Do you gals and guys workout?

    If you do tell what you do and why you do it


    I workout everyday but I have a complicated arm wich I tend to get... damn I don't know what this injury is called torn string? When I was 12-15 I was into this motor sport called trail. That is you drive a slow but very strong bike, and the goal is to climb over obstacles like cars and all sorts of sat up scenes. It's a really great sport actually it recuires extreme balance and you get a damn strong body of it. When you are driving trail and come home you are sore absolutely in every damn muscle you have, particulary in the upperbody. Anyhow what happened when I was 15 (1 week before I turned 16) was that it was a really rainy day and this is mudcounty nr 1. I dragged the bike back to much and fell backwards, what you do when that happens is that you fall back put your feet on the ground and just push the bike to either side(typically right if righthanded and viceversa). But this day it was so slippery so when my feet hit the ground and I was about to do that I slipped and got the bike on my arm and crushed it. It was a really complicated break and my underarm broke at 3 places. I also had to go back and break the arm up and the doctors didn't get to align the upper bone good enough, and its alot of bone tissue there that blocks my bloodstream because its to much pressure... anyhow I get this thornstring if I don't take enough care forinstance during marathon exams etc.

    I have a mate that went pro at the age of 16 at this his name is kjetil and he won lots of EM and VM titles, that guy was just completely mad in this sport. At this age he moved to spain and I have never seen him after this and I dunno what he is doing now.

    The last 2 years I've only been able to do situps etc but now I'm back again sort of in the start. I think in about 2-3 weeks I can stop with pushups for building my foundation, and get my old bench again and I'm looking sooo forward for that

    I've been to to the umm.. you know experts at muscles and such like a doctor and learned alot of tricks to prevent my arm to go bad again, various stretches and such. And its about bloody time that I can start lifting weights again, if I had gone on like this my abs would soon be to overdimensional

    When I workout I do not do it for getting big, I do it to get umm "thight marked muscles". And I do it because you get alot more energy when you are fit. When I train weights I never train maximum lifts but I train with maximum series. And I have never used any steroid at all and never will, lots of my mates use lots of that shit testosteron dekaderon etcetcetc and they get soft but big fast, but they also get f*cked up in the head. In just 2-3 months you see their personality gets totally changed and they are not them selves anymore. When they stop with it they get really messed up and cry and whine alot... That stuff is just so damn dangerous. Also it seriously affects fertility because particulary testo is produced in your testicles. Another big nono is amphetamines + workout(weights), it breaks down your muscle tissue and your body doesnt feel/register that you get tired.

    How do you work out?
    How often?
    Do you run?
    Do you lift weights?
    Do you do aerobics?
    Do you train home or at an studio?
    What do you wish to accomplish?


    And ofc rocking at trance parties to is damn good workout!

    Also gals!: This is important never do steroid and never train to get big! Atleast for me when chicks starts to get big arms and shoulders and particulary female bodybuilders they get extremely discusting. Train to be fit and you are supposed to have alot more bodyfat than us guys Particulary stay away from err what is it called. well when you lay on your back and lift upwards and train your "titty muscles" lol these female bodybuilders loose their tits and starts to get man chests that is just so discusting... For you the equalient thing is a man with titties I guess I've discussed this alot with my mates and female friends, females with sixpacks and here we are divided. Some guys seem to like it, but I really do not at all. Its ok if they are small but I rather like more slim stomaches on woman that arent to hard. And also I'm a sucker for piercings or rings in the bellybutton

    BTW motorsport is in my blood. Roy Snellingen and his father wich both were legendary motorcross worldchampions are close relatives of me not to brag but I must admit to be a bit proud of that

    Not the right forum for the working out dude! I dont think most of the people here even know what that is! Try bodybuilding.com, they have a forum there where you can talk about anything related to nutrition, exercise, sports, etc..

    I go to the gym 2 to3 times a week. I start off with a 30 min run, then 30 min bike, then 30 min row. Do some weights for an hour, then go for a few lengths of the pool.

    Hmm I'm leaving this since the other topic is pretty dead and old.

    I do work out, yes. I need to get more weight for waterpolo, and more strength in my legs so I can get out of the water better for throwing the ball. I can really compensate with my arms now, because they're pretty strong. Especially the muscles around my knees, they need to get better, because that's what you use to jump out of the water. I do quite a lot besides that. I also keep training my arms, and besides that just my whole body, back, tummy, shoulders, etc. And indeed, never use steroids or whatsoever. Just natural training. Not everyday though, I simply don't have the time, I try to work out about 3 times 1.5 hours a week, next to 2 times of 1.5 hours of waterpolo.

    i go at least twice a wk i dont need to but its jus a habbit now.I usuallt am on the threadmill a lot i love that,i do weights,the ski-ing thing and the ball

    i work out...........3-4 times a week.....mainly weights, hate cardio though.....plus play tenniss if weather allows

    I work out usually 2-3 times a week. I try to run outdoors on a track since a treadmill is cheating a little bit.
