I also like his collaborations with Phi Phi. But when you remember his old days, it's sad not to hear those fantastic melodies he still is able of writing.
Oh, 'Symphony Beneath A Summerstorm'! The whole 'Trilogique' album, actually!
As I already said, too much progressive tunes from him right now ... and what a pity!

Des Mitchell. His Discography is pretty short but would love for him to return.

This one and Sven Maes are my main "missed ones".

I guess there are tons if you think about it.

Im listening to the 2004-2006/7 sound of Jonas Steur. What a natural (if you can speak of natural in trance) and beautiful sound he brought forth back then. Sure, its all synthesized. But those organic sounding bongos/percussion, the ambience, and the beautiful melodies.

So, yeah, I miss that. And some say that some of Silk's releases are todays sounds of that but its just doesn't do much for me.

Any particular tracks you like the most? I'd love to hear them.

I think he's just not particularly active with producing, I believe he is busy with his PhD in Astronomy. He goes to the same university I go to (we study the same subject, he's just way ahead of me in terms of years since he is in the PhD stage). I see him from time to time, the last time I actually spoke to him he told me he hadn't really checked out the trance scene in quite some time. It was around the time there was so much hype surrounding Dimension - Origami and I told him to check the tune out and see what he thought of it, because it reminded people of the new Gouryella.

If I remember correctly he said that he was working on one or a few tunes, but my memory is a bit hazy. I think he also said he kind of liked the EDM sound that was getting more popular, with Hardwell and stuff... But again, don't quote me on these things because it has been quite a while (could be up to a year) since I spoke to him about those things.
    Eco complete discography

trance (noun) - a state of ecstasy or mystic absorption so intense as to cause a temporary loss of consciousness at the earthly level

Haven't heard any. But those you now posted are quite good, each in its own way. Just a wild guess, the first is from 2004, and the second from 2006?
