Hey 2030 do you ever think that our governments plant false information to keep us on a wild goose chase?

I think they keep information from us... by planting weatherballoons and such things.

I do find the thought of there being alien life captivating, but then oh so frustrating because if it is true why is there no communication between the general masses on either side. Why the hold up, is the human race lacking that needed for such an event?

There could be various reasons:
-It could be very hard to communicate, perhaps like talking to a dolphin.
-Our govts would probably attack the flying UFO and abduct the aliens inside it and slice them open for examination
-The aliens could be protecting us. When a superior technological society meets with a lesser one, it rarely ends up positive for the latter. It may be destroyed, assimilated, lose its own identity or affected in other ways. Think of the Indians or Aboriginals...

I dont think the aliens are either hostile or friendly. You cant say this about humans in general either. Its too simple... Some are friendly, some hostile, and then there is everything in between. They'll probably also have many different races, space ships, languages. And many different reasons for visiting us
