    Classical Music Thread

Well I just found an old CD of mine containing some of the best piano compositions of all time and I absolutely fell in love. So I had an idea for everyone to post their favorite pieces of music composed in the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods.

I'll start with a couple famous but lovely, emotional, and amazing compositions written for piano or piano concertos with string accompaniment.

This first one was for the Harpsichord, but I feel like it should count since it sounds stunning played on piano.

Of course one of the, in my honest opinion, most emotional tunes ever created.

And a dark, more recent, piece of fantastic music.

Simplicity: A Beautiful Art Form (Classical Music Thread)

Over the years I've noticed that this forum fortunately consists of many members with unique and wonderful differing musical tastes. Because of that I'd like to start a thread on simplistic and expressive classical music, mainly because I believe that some of the most beautiful music need not be layered with several instruments and complex patterns. So I would like everyone to share their most treasured simplistic and beautiful classical pieces. I'd like to start with the following three:

I think there's only one candidate for this:
