TF is looking for a member for the review crew

    Dear Trancefixers,

We are looking for a volunteer to join the TranceFix FrontPage crew. To be more precise we are looking for an extra review crew member. Those who don't know - me and cheer_up are responsible for reviews on our frontpage, so the person would be dealing with us mostly.

    Requirements:

    • one should be familiar with trance scene [could name at least 2 remixes of the producer if woken up in the middle of the night]
    • one should be an active member on TF [postcount means nothing, the number of times you visit TF does]
    • one should be innitiative and sociable person [so we wouldn't have to push you every day]
    • one should want to do this, not only 'to try, if that works or not'

Occupation: dealing with promos incoming from labels/artists and writing reviews/descriptions based on one's own taste (no enforcement!)

More details will be available once you respond here. We will get in touch with you in private!

Thanks for the attention and good luck!

    TF team

If you are free in your dreams, then why don't you go to places you always wanted to go?

I know I haven't been the longest member on here but Id genuinely love to do this.

I've been involved in music production for over 5 years now and been an edm fan since I 1st heard 2 Unlimited - No Limit (yes thats what got me into music haha!) I have a passion for music that I simply can't describe, rather than hearing it I feel it and its always fantastic hearing new music, been heavily involved in the music industry since my debut release on spinnin in 2008 so Id love to put myself forward for this if possible

I got alot of love in my heart for trance. Great trance doesn't necessarily have to invoke a trance like state, but it does need to inspire spontaneous emotion. Poor trance music, gives the genre a bad name and fans the flames of haters. Clearly I am passionate about trance and given an opportunity to have my reviews read by the trancefix community, I would choose my words carefully in order to properly guide those to make decisions on what may be worth a listen and what may be the next dance floor bomb.

I have been clubbing for over fifteen years, when I used to go out to see the likes of Joey Beltram and Josh Wink. Only a few weeks ago, I saw Ferry Corsten for the umpteenth time rock the house in Boston! I spend alot of my fun monetary beatport.com so your reviews are already important to me. That's why I already post impressions in your forums.

Surely I would love to help you moderators with the TF... I always like to take part in things I'm in. But I'm getting too busy with the university (yeah chemical engineering can drive you crazy!) and some things more, and I don't know if I'll always have the time to keep it up
This time top track: Carbon Based Lifeforms - RCA(+) (2015)
This time top album: Dntel - Life Is Full of Possibilities (2001)

    I can do it!
New concept: mixing as many EDM genres in one mix as possible, to obliterate narrowmindedness Borders within Genres vanguish, check out my mix consisting of DnB, Dubstep, Hardstyle, House and of course TRANCE!

Outside of the review-team..... I'll be doing some more reviews in the near future, also ones that can fit the frontpage aswell.

and what about a review of a classic every now and then?

in other words: you could help, but you don't want to join the team?

even though we focus on what's coming up, reviewing old goodies from time to time is welcome

Not sure about being inside or outside the review team. At least I'm not the one you're looking for when it's up to digging through lots of demos etc.

As I see you like the classics idea, I can do a monthly classics review or so. I think I have enough ideas and hardcopy material to write about: Maxi singles, Albums and DJ Compilations, I have a little review experience, and because I'm a listener for already a decade I know a lot of the stuff I talk about
