    What are your favorite apps?

I'll start with some of my favorite Android apps:

    - Barcode Scanner
    - MSN Talk
    - WhatsApp
    - SoundHound
    - Noom
    - Winamp
    - Stocks
    - Beautifull home wallpaper
    - The one that gives me the Ajax schedule
    - Wifi hotspot (in case I don't have internet at home I can make my mobile a wifi so I can still use internet on my PC!)

    and a few games!
    - Traffic Jam
    - Bubble Mania (currently addicted to this, played it up to 2 at night yesterday )

PowerAMP - Absolutely the best music player for Android imo!
    Gmail
    GO Launcher EX
    GO SMS PRO
    GO Contacts
    Dolphin Browser HD
    Google+
    VPlayer
    Evernote
    AH.FM
My Data Manager - to check how much data I've used
Simple Last.FM Scrobbler - to scrobble what I'm listening to (works perfectly with PowerAMP)
Tasker - to automate my phone's settings (eg. turn down the brightness during the night)

Got my first Android about a year ago (HTC Desire) and I'm on my second one now (Samsung Galaxy S II). So I've tried a lot of different apps

Trancefix, what's the most usefull app you have on your smartphone?

Always interested in hearing about new apps!

Mine is easily the app from IMDb. At least it's one of the apps I commonly use. Cause it really bugs me when I'm watching a movie, and can't recall that actor, and what else they've been in. Also useful to check reviews.

    So, what's your favorite app?

I am genuinely surprised to see this is the first thread made on this topic!

I don't own a smartphone as currently have no need for one but will be interested to see what is out there in the mobile world.

Well I can't choose only one app, so here's a few apps (for Android) that I use a lot!

GoneMad Music Player: In my opinion, this is definitely the best music player available out there. Supports MP3/AAC/WAV/FLAC and lots of other formats, supports cuesheets and has got lots of other features as well.
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...d=gonemad.gmmp

Light Flow: Controls the LED light on the front of my phone, as well as the notifications. For an example it will show a green light if I've got a text message, red light if I've got a missed call etc. Almost everything can be customized (color/flash rate/sound/vibration)
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...roid.lightflow

Tasker: Running in the background, automating my phone. Three examples:
    1. Everytime my battery gets below 15%, wifi and bluetooth is turned off (if it was already turned on).
    2. When I insert my headphones, the media volume is set to whichever level I chose to be (not too loud no matter how loud it was last time you heard music)
    3. Tasker can also automate my phone based on time, so from 23:30 to 08:00 everyday, my phone is completely silent and the brightness is turned down.
And that's only a small part of what it can do. Really useful!

TV Show Favs: Allows me to keep track of the series I'm watching. What I mainly use the app for is to remember which episode of (lets say) Game of Thrones was the last I saw.
It also features what seems to be a nice schedule with coming episodes of series in my favorite list, but I doubt that's useful for anybody else than americans (unless I've got some Danish series added ofc )
