so, I gave your track a listen and I enjoyed it overall! I'm no expert in these things, but some comments and thoughts on the top on my head were these.

the first minute and a half made me think about a computer game from the 80's/90's with that synth and leaving out the beats/claps! Starting from 1:35 and onwards we're really getting somewhere! This part I really like, but it's as if it doesn't fit that well with the intro (by intro I mean the first 90 seconds). Same thing goes for 3:50 and onwards, it's as if a new track is starting!

I like your track overall but I don't think the elements fit that well together in to a complete track, I felt like I was listening to a mix. But a very good one

Thanks for the feedback. When I listened to it this morning I was indeed not too happy with the intro. I have changed it now. Still not convinced that it is right, but I think it is an improvement.....

Difficult to write something about this as I know your tracks are never standard tracks. I think the changing of themes in the track could be a bit more fluent. As far as I recognize one of the major things in that is lacking pressure in the mix: both the drums and the bassline. The balance between the melodic synths and the rest of the track is a bit gone so try to push them a bit down and make a better blend between the synths and the drums + bassline. Gives you way more opportunities to show off your creativity on that side aswell

    I enjoyed the listen again

Thanks for your comments. I have made a bit more (what is considered) standard work recently and will post that shortly.

Definitely got some great potential tbh.

    My thoughts:

    - You need a different clap, this one is annoying. Well actually perhaps a lot of drum sounds could be improved/more interesting.
    - Obviously there's no intro/well thought out outro (yet?), so its no good for DJ's to play it out this way if they wanted to.
    - The melody at 2:04 section is not good enough if you want something really serious with the track.
    - the melody section after it, 2:30, is good, original, good sounds, build a track around it!
    - If you add some '8-bit'-ish sounds that would really improve the atmosphere on the track, I think it would really suit the track.
    - I hear a 'pad'/string at 2:45 joining, make it louder/more present, perhaps use it in a breakdown.
    - The melody at 4:20 seems to be a varation on the one at 2:30, that could be interesting to use to.

Well, try those things... or perhaps I should remix/collab your track Leave a message if you're interested.

Hi Voci. Thanks for your in-depth feedback. As mentioned before, I haven't been on this forum for a while. But I will have a look improving this track. Listened to your latest work and I must say: very good job there. Will post some comments later.
