You know what is funny? With all the hate he received with remixing Guetta on asot, it was still voted as future favourite haha

Only two pages?! I am disappointed. Expected at least four or five pages so far.

It just doesn't carry the same shock-factor as remixing Guetta.

And he never played it again despite the remix winning the poll. I speak to a couple of house music purists and they say this is not really house music and they say its more pseudo trance.

I heard the first 10 seconds and I stopped it after that not for me

Yeah I also wouldn't say that his remix of Guetta is house, it's between genres, when Armin played it he said that he put some rave sounds in it. That's...just...wrong....

Rave sounds?! He really said that? I bet he used that word just because it sounds so...underground. Damn!

Yup, mentioned it in his episode before playing it, anyway, I agree, I don't like it, it's waaay to underground for me.

Why is everyone on this forum so obsessed with names? Starting to get really annoying coming here and reading the same stuff every time.

You guys take your music too seriously. It's not a cult. Listen to what you think is GOOD. Who cares who produces what? Not your decision anyway.

Think about this for a few seconds: Who is killing the scene? The producers who try to progress in developing the genre(s) or the ignorant "fans" who just bash every single track that's different?

If a producer tries anything new, he's gone mainstream or pop. If he keeps producing what he's done, he's not interesting.

Soo true, but people are ashamed to listen to commercial music. In one day I cna listen some Avicii or Guetta stuff, but in the other day I can listen to some deep underground trance stuff, I don't see anything wrong with it. But you know, it's up to people what they are listening to as everyone have their own taste. Most of the people just don't understand the process behind producing and fun coming with experimenting stuff and how you can get bored with doing same stuff all over again.

Something's wrong with this post. There's just way too much logic in it.

    Word.

I loved the Remix Armin did for Guetta - the percussions and the vocal scattering in particular; that's something you don't usually see a lot of. But a lot of people hated on the track without even listening to it just because "OMG Armin remixed Guetta! He's sold himself out!!!" or something to that effect. People can be amazingly close-minded sometimes...
