Is Deep House living it's golden era?

After a disappointment with mainstream trance i looked for music that pleased the gap left by trance and sincerely i found it. Deep house is on fire right now and releasing quality every week through digital portals

    Here an example

    What do you think?

yeah, quality of deep and progressive (the real one) house tracks is higher than almost every tracks labeled & released as trance nowadays.
few days ago i was looking for the site similar to trancefix, where i could find out about new progressive/deep house releases. but i couldn't find it. do you know any? aside from going through beatport releases every day.

It's good enough for beginning. You can also check Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo podcasts.

You should try opening a thread like that on a (Deep) House forum(other than anjunadeep related) & hear some, if you want to have a fair conclusion to that thread ofc..

I have to agree with all of you guys. Trance releases are disappointing nowadays, only 2 or 3 releases that are worth every week... So I started looking other genres, just as you did, about one year ago, and I discovered the real progressive house and deep house... Labels like anjunadeep, bedrock, silk, mistique music, outside the box, pryda's label, etc etc... Artists like Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Kay-D, Dusky, Eelkie Kleijn and many many others are producing and playing AWESOME and quality stuff. Check them out
Tune of 2007: Luke Warner & Mat Lock - Deep Psychosis [Daniel Kandi´s Cure Mix]
Tune of 2008: Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Walk The Edge [Alex M.O.R.P.H. B2B Woody van Eyden Remix]
Tune of 2009: Bobina - Invisible Touch [Ferry Corsten's Touch]
Tune of 2010: Jon O'Bir feat. Fisher - Found A Way [Joint Operations Centre Remix]
Tune of 2011: Andrew Bayer - From The Earth (Breakfast Remix)

IMO you should start from listening to di.fm progressive channel. that's how i got into progressive house in first place. this channel is full of quuality music & radioshows. this is nothing like trance channel where all you can hear is the same trouse shit on every show (with few exceptions ofcourse). and just to name few radioshows that in my opinion are worth to listen: airwave - progrez, mistique music showcase, silk royal showcase, transitions, da flash show (hosted by flash brother, outstanding music), moonbeam's show + bunch of motnhly and weekly shows from less known guys like autoguesstion (Ian Lurgee totaly killed it last week http://soundcloud.com/ian-lurgee/ian...tosuggestion-5) and many others. just tune in one evening , im sure you will like it!

Jody Wisternoff has some regular shows trough some radio stations like Anjunabeats worldwide or so. Follow him in his facebook/twitter/soundcloud in order to be noticed.

It's not exactly deep house but it's the idea I'm trying to explain

I simply cannot find quality stuff like this in trance nowadays. Deeper, voyager, etc. Progressive has disappeared from trance scene.
