    Piranha 3DD.

Fun late Saturday night movie. Hilarious stuff in there. Also loved the scenes with ''The Hoff''.

Watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty today and it was really good, I liked the movie and it kept my full attention during the whole movie. I rate this movie a 8,5/10.

Enjoyable, but the storyline was hardly spectacular - considering the rather big budget cast. I suppose it could also be considered a bit of an eye opener as well. 7/10

What a film! I love the 2000 -2005 era of film making. Such a bigger focus on the dialogue and plot, when compared to the overly dramatic and extravagant screenplay most modern day films put so much time into . Bit rushed and confusing at parts, but overall it was a sweet thriller, with awesome twists and drama between the two main rivals (Bale & Jackman) who put in great performances.

    I highly recommend it. 8.3/10

Great film. But by christ, does that ending leave you thinking. Nolan at his best.

Watched it a few weeks back myself, agree with both of you. I was surprised by the dark places that the film went though I guessed the rather sickening compromise Hugh made early on.

Hilariously funny hidden camera stuff from the Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass production team. I've honestly not laughed that hard at a film in along time, but it also has some proper cringeworthy, through the finger moments. I also think the young boy in it played his role incredibly well, considering some of the situations he was put in, especially the beauty pageant scene.

Awesome movie, I watched this 2 days ago. Johnny Knoxville is so funny. Loved the scene where he crashes into the pinguin haha.

Yeah, when he tells the man on the bike to watch out for the penguin, I almost fell off my chair! Awesome movie, I love those troll movies, just like this one and, of course, Borat.

Excellent behind the lines account of the tragic 2005, Operation Red Wings. If you like your action then this is for you, because a large chunk of the film is nothing but action. Found the ending to be pretty moving and had a bit of a lump in my throat, but at the same time, I cant help but feel its a good ol' slice of American propaganda. Great film all the same, though. 8/10

    The Wolf On Wall Street
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0993846/

Once again I have been let down by hollywood and had another reminder at how low the standards are for movies nowadays, based on the praise this is receiving. I'm sure most people on here will love this movie, like most people in the world, but it is thoroughly over-rated, there is no doubt about it. I think Di Capro was great with his acting, awesome in fact. The camera work was also very impressive (Rodrigo Prieto smashes the cinematography). There was also some very funny dialogue at times, but this is where the quality stops.

The characters were one dimensional and straight out formulas. The main character offered nothing in depth and never tackled anything with real understanding, reflection or difficulty. The emphasis in entirely on enthusiasm and this is where it ends.

The story was non existent and something that has been done over and over and over again. The presentation of material (sex, drugs and money) take paramount over every other important aspect that makes a good film. It's substance-less throughout. It has no message or meaning to think about, nor does it represent a realistic world or insight into Wall Street in anyway. It is over the top for the sake of being over the top and that is is it. "Scorsese aims to achieve what could be done with hammer instead with a wrecking ball" - this quote sums it up perfectly. Scene after scene at debauchery that adds nothing to script. They don't even try.

I could say a lot more, but I'm sure most will love this movie and my opinion is just one of many. It was entertaining, but so is dumb & dumber. 6.7/10

Maybe you just came in with the wrong expectations?

    Haven't seen it myself btw.
