Amazing depth indeed, reminds me of Brazilian players too. Willian transfered to Anzhi for 35M & Fernandinho to City for 40M and not sure if they have ever been capped. Both world-class players for that matter.

I've read it's a cultural thing, not a judgement on ability. The national side seem to be disinterested with the Eastern European leagues. Both players are gifted but have moved for inflated fees. We'll see how good the latter is when the league kicks off. Personally I think he'll surprise lots of people.

Not that they won't breakthrough, as you point out Hulk has. Is just that they have a much harder time of it, he did so while at Porto for instance. They both had caps but not been wanted more than a handful of times.

In the Dutch media, they say that Van Dyk is a good defender and he is a big talent, I do not know for sure but it looks like Celtic may have paid too much because I don't see Van Dyk playing in the basic 11 for Celtic which might waste his talent.

Behind those line-ups there is a hard job done and our bet for young talents and quality football is obvious. Our teams from the youngest generations to the first team play the same way.
