Holy sh!t a win for Liverpool!

Here is the best strategy I've found for dealing with such a turbulent result. Villas Boas may wish to adopt a similar coping strategy ...

Seems Boas needed more distracting fireworks
I don't agree with the decision to sack him. He's a very young manager with a hastily assembled squad who've just lost their star player. The thrashings weren't good but we haven't a God given right to a Champions League place. It has to be earnt and it takes time, other clubs strengthen too.
Now I guess Tim Sherwood will take over for a while ... :/

Insider remarks seem to suggest why he's gone:
Total arrogance
Reliance of stats of players and not using his eyes
Not listening to anyone else
Refusing to meet with Daniel Levy and Franco Baldini about players
Ostracising the rest of the club from the 1st team
Rude behind the scenes to all staff

Well he wasnt the right guy for the club, i think he should have been sacked already after City game, as a secret admirer of Spurs, games have been so frustrating to watch this season, the fun attacking football has changed into very robotic and uncreative 1-0 winning or 0-6 losing game.
I do not think Spurs have had so much talent in their squad in a long time and yet they fail to give the players any opportunities to flourish. I have only seen Lamela in 1 game, where was he given some creative freedom (i think it was some Europa League game) and he was awsome.
My nr.1 wish for manager solution would be this:
1) get Hiddink to manage until end of season, or Capello, some old really respected coach who can save the season from becoming a disaster.
for that period try to find a suitable coach for long term, preferably someone under 50, so he can have a long-term career at club, but with experience at handling EGOs and enough credit so that players would listen to him.
2) sign someone for long term and DO NOT change the team so much during next transfer window. Good football team needs time to gel with each other and coach, its no surprise Arsenal and Liverpool are so much better this season. They were only teams which didnt lose important/key players or coach during summer.

For the right money and if things aren't going as he wanted over in Russia, yes. I think it's more likely Sherwood will step in though short term.
Out of all the manager names I've seen circulated Marcelo Bielsa would be my guy, I'm not sure he'd come to us though.

Drogba is going back to Stamford Bridge, It worths watching!!

Loco Bielsa or Luis Aragones are excellent alternatives for Spurs.

This news made my day. I mean wtf is that BA don't have an available plane to take England to Brazil. I think the BA is looking for a Saudi or Russian sponsor for the expenses.
