Wow, that downward spiral for United just keep on going. Loses to Sunderland in a penalty shootout at home and by that exiting the Capital One Cup.

A shame for Manchester United that this season is turning into a disaster for them, I heard they are planning to buy Juan Mata from Chelsea for about 49 million which is just a reflection that they are starting to panick now as they keep losing. I hope Van Persie can play in the coming games otherwise Man United will probably fail in the Champions League as well.

Mata to Manchester United!
Could it be that Chelsea got a 1st option on Rooney with this transfer??
And what do you guys think of the whole Neymar - Barcelona transfer soap??
Apparently Neymar costed Barcelona 86,7 million Euros!
Neymar is a good player, but imo a massive hype!
Didn't see the guy against Ajax for example.....

Neymar is a very talented and great player, just Barca is the wrong team for him IMO..and not just in Neymar's case but all these "almost 100 millions" prices it's a freakish perversion of modern football..for such money player can bring benefit to the club store and commercial/sponsorship contracts, but not on the field..such price gives only excessive pressure..

Growing up in an area which was heavily populated by Rangers fans it was great ammo at first, but now the reality that we have no creditable rivals has really hit home. Its become extremely monotonous watching Celtic on a weekly basis, knowing that a loss wont really effect our chances of winning the league. I mean were unbeaten this season and we've have had clean sheets in our last 10 games. One more clean sheet and thats a record. Where is the honour in that? With the SPL is in its current state. Celtic are essentially the victims their own success and very little is likely to change unless we get a move to England, but this highly unlikely to happen - at least not in my lifetime.
Whats even more disheartening is; Rangers are currently in financial meltdown once again! They've recently asked players to take wage cuts. They're living out with their means and unless they wake up and smell the coffee its going to be an endless cycle. And if/when they do eventually make it back in to the top tier well be so far ahead of them it doesn't bear thinking about.
As a Celtic fan right now, and i think i speak for most of us here, the only thing we look forward to is the Champions League or the possibility of drawing Rangers in the cup. Scottish football is horrendous and the gap in quality is frightening.
May Mix

Is it not the role of the SFA to sort out the wider issues? Eyes should be on them. Speaking of which: http://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish...3&newsID=13033

I see that the SPL is very similar to the Uruguayan league. In here we have to really big teams (Nacional and Peñarol), that won the 'Copa Libertadores' and the old Intercontinental Cup several times and they both divide 86 national titles of i think 91 92 played.
As a fan of one of these times i couldn't imagine not having the feeling of waking up in the morning knowing that is derby day is priceless..
Anyway, with all the fan-base behind Rangers should be in first division in a few time i guess

Only gud thing of Mexico football, teams are so mediocre that one season they win and the next they are last place so it gives a lot of "competition" and you cant never tell wich team is gona win.
For example the last 2 years one champion was a team that 1 year before was in the 2nd division, lel.
