Erik Lamela to Spurs £30mil done deal!
Wow.... great bit of business for Spurs. Are you watching Arsenal?!

El Coco Lamela is amazing, great signing!
Waiting for GB's official announcement, tired of this soap![]()

Yeah am eager to see how he does, looks quite the talent. As for Arsenal I still think they're strong. I haven't seen a need for rash decisions from them.
You and me both, it's dragged on too long but then you're dealing with Daniel Levy who is notoriously difficult to negotiate with. For good reason however as he strikes good financial deals. I have to say I feel RM haven't acted in a manner which befits their status during this saga. Nearly everybody from the club bar the tea lady mentioned 'Gareth Bale' speaking of him as if he was already in their possession. I think they've not done themselves any favours there & it may have hurt on this deal. We've certainly not covered ourself in glory over the years but I expected a little more professionalism and class from one of the greatest clubs in the world.
__________
As for players we're speaking to right now.
Vlad Chiriches
Christian Eriksen
We also have a offer on the table for Alen Halilovic, the club have accepted the terms put to them but his Dad has not. He has a big say on his decision so it's a waiting game. They're holding out for a bigger club currently.
I've also read we're also speaking to a Spanish club over a player who is U21 and can play all 3 forward positions. Only person I can think of who fits the profile and price mentioned is Iker Muniaín?.
__________
On outgoings Emmanuel Adebayor has offers, Gylfi Sigurðsson is also likely to leave on loan or on a permanent transfer as he doesn't want to play a bit part role. We were hoping to sign a new left back in replacement of Assou Ekotto but he is struggling to pass any medicals. (Already failed some in France) so he may stay.

30 melons for Lamela? I think he is a great player, but damn dats overrated.
But once again, Andy Carrol puts everything back in place.
Screw #TranceFamily, screw TrashBerlin, screw the heart hands, screw all the cheese music that shouldnt be attempting to the glory of Trance.LONG LIVE TO REAL TRANCE!!!

I am getting really angry on Ajax now!!!! :@ :@
The Spurs are touching 100M Euros for a 1 player....
And Ajax agrees only 12 million for their key player??
And that only a couple of days before the end of the transfer window.
Why on earth such a low fee......?? :@
Bye bye championship!! :@ :@ :@

Ajax only asks twelve million? Eriksen is worth more than that but Vertonghen was also worth more in my opinion.

I'm confused. How come Ajax has tagged Eriksen at 12M, I thought he was valued over 20M & that's what why LFC backed off, fckin hell we have been linked with him all year.. Spurs is about to struck the bargain of the season if that's true.
I cant believe we were willing to pay 25+ for Costa, Willian, Mikitaryan and yet cant fork out 12 for the excellent Eriksen, so fcking sad!

Clearly gifted but he will have to adapt to the league and quickly. Which brings me to my main worry. We've effectively replaced our entire team going forward bar 1 or 2 players. I expect some disjointed performances and inconsistency certainly.
As for Eriksen in particular, good with both feet, quick mind and able to spot a pass. Exactly what we need to help Soldado. My only worry is how he'll adapt as he hasn't got the same strength as Coutinho and I'm not sure what his work rate will be like against the lesser teams. He's played very well for Denmark though and if we have that same player I'll be thrilled.
I can only assume contract as Eriksen only has one year remaining. He did promise to not leave on a free, credit to him so I don't see why value should be affected much. He's a quality player at an exceptional price and we need his qualities. I'd be surprised should he join us however as I believe he stated he would only join a CL team?
As for Vertonghen, seeing him play with us and improve I think we should have paid double what we did in the market. He's everything you want in a defender. I hope to see Chriches come in as he looks similar in style.
Expect heavy transfer activity, seems we're speaking to Coentrao again to fill in at left back. All I know is that if the players we're signing gel we'll have a hell of an attacking force.
I'm happy for Bale to go consider how much we're strengthening other areas. We've needed attention to defense in particular for a long time.

NO MONEY / £0 ON FREE TRANSFER FLAMINI!
A clear sign of their ambition & intent to claim the title back.
Bringing back a player who left earlier in his career because they couldn't / wouldn't meet his demands.
Course it's not all about spending money but seriously? There's being frugal and then there is being ridiculously tight. Do they want to win anything? Gaining CL qualification isn't winning.
P.s. Podolski is confirmed to be out for 10 weeks.
