Gareth Bale is becoming huge in football scene, but I think that 100 million euros is too much for him. Of course that he's going to be Real Madrid's player next season.

Coentrão said that he doesn't want to go to the Spurs. ;/

As for Eriksen in particular, good with both feet, quick mind and able to spot a pass. Exactly what we need to help Soldado. My only worry is how he'll adapt as he hasn't got the same strength as Coutinho and I'm not sure what his work rate will be like against the lesser teams. He's played very well for Denmark though and if we have that same player I'll be thrilled.

I can only assume contract as Eriksen only has one year remaining. He did promise to not leave on a free, credit to him so I don't see why value should be affected much. He's a quality player at an exceptional price and we need his qualities. I'd be surprised should he join us however as I believe he stated he would only join a CL team?

As for Vertonghen, seeing him play with us and improve I think we should have paid double what we did in the market. He's everything you want in a defender. I hope to see Chriches come in as he looks similar in style.

Expect heavy transfer activity, seems we're speaking to Coentrao again to fill in at left back. All I know is that if the players we're signing gel we'll have a hell of an attacking force.

I'm happy for Bale to go consider how much we're strengthening other areas. We've needed attention to defense in particular for a long time.
Well, I am a little bit biased because Ajax is my favourite team but Eriksen is a good player and I think he can manage himself in the Premier League. Tottenham will enjoy Eriksen. But with the players Ajax now sold, their chances in the Champions League are small and we will have to see if they can perform.

Real Madrid will pay 84+7 M € for him (Bale) and Fly Emirates will pay 25% of his transfer. Bale is a moneymaker.

Bale (Di Maria) Isco (Ozil) Ronaldo (Jese)
    Benzema (Morata)

Di Maria to Arsenal? hahaha He will stay here

Gareth Bale joins Real Madrid from Spurs in £85m world record deal

    FINALLY!

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23538218

As for the NLD, performance was as expected. Team needs time to gel, if anything the game too early in the season for us to impose ourselves as I know we can. We'll improve later on.

P.s. I am hearing there is a massive deal in the pipeline for Spurs which eclipses all our deals so far. Will keep you posted.

Yes indeed, it has been finally confirmed! £85 mil!! Unbelievable money....seriously... £85mil!! I dont think this fee will be eclipsed if at all for a very long time.

Good luck to the lad, i really hope he does well.

P.s Suspected double leg break for E.Capoue... bad luck, season over for him.

100M€ not confirmed yet. 84+7 is the amount paid.

We paid for Ronaldo 96M € and it was the most economical signing in years

He aint near the levels of expossure and publicity of Cristiano Ronaldo, yet it was as expensive as him. I dont think this was such a great move by Madrid, yes Bale is a great player that can become even better but damn the price is too expensive if u compare him with how much more Ronaldo did when he got sign and he was WAY MORE FAMOUS so that makes it possible to expect a lot of money coming back to the club with the merchandise.

I dont think Bale can do that, at least not in a near future so its better that your team starts making him appear in talkshows and shit like that so he can become more popular.
Screw #TranceFamily, screw TrashBerlin, screw the heart hands, screw all the cheese music that shouldnt be attempting to the glory of Trance.

Yeah he had an X-Ray last night. I expect he'll be out for much of the season as a result. Sad but least we have cover there. Likely guarantees Paulinho more games.

His popularity and level of exposure will increase a lot because he is going to play at Real Madrid (the most famous club in the world) together with Ronaldo, Ozil, Casillas and co. He is a future Golden Ball.

That is not a problem I think, Real Madrid has a enormous audience in the world.

The last one is GB wearing one of our greatest t-shirts, when we won the 7th CL. Like Ronaldo, they dreamt to be 'madridista'

Copenhagen ban fans with 'foreign names' from Champions League games

    This is disgusting

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/1716/cha...ampions-league

FC Copenhagen have rejected claims of discrimination after the club banned home fans with foreign-sounding names from attending their upcoming Champions League group games.

The Danish champions were drawn in Group B alongside Real Madrid, Juventus and Galatasaray, but sent out an email on Friday informing supporters with non-Danish surnames that their tickets were being cancelled for “security reasons”.

The news has caused uproar among many fans, but Copenhagen club secretary Daniel Rommedahl insists that it was necessary in order to avoid crowd trouble and the move is by no means discriminatory.

In 2000, there were serious disturbances in the centre of Copenhagen ahead of Galatasaray's Uefa Cup final against Arsenal.

“We were fully aware that our decision would cause a reaction, but it was the best solution”, said Rommedahl.

"We are fully aware that everyone will not agree, but discrimination it is not."

This reasoning has not gone down well with supporters, though.

I almost vomited when I saw this a few days ago. I have no words for this, only: I'm a bit ashamed of us Danes now
