Yikes, didn't know it was a straight red!

Can't tell on replay but was Brown the last man? I think the acting was because Brown 'brushed' him with his foot and he thought he'd make most of it.

Still poor behaviour by Neymar as was with Vertonghen against Chelsea.

I didn't watch the game, but I don't think he was the last man. I think he just tried to make the most of it and die two times, lose his back, role over and scream. But hey, that's football!

It seems he is already a full time actor in the Barcelona squad!

Footballing ability comes second to acting at Barcelona, did you not know?

    5. he went down because he hasn't got anywhere to go other than to run into the guys arm. It's what most players do when they feel obstructed, they throw a strop.
    4. He is actually pushed over.
    3. He is swept over from the force.

    Be fair to the guy.

I can guaratee you that there are more diving videos alone about Ronaldo and Di Maria or Bale compared to those who you mention. Also there is a pretty distinct difference between diving (trying to get a penalty or a free kick or at least a foul) and acting (overexaggerating situations). I have yet to see Neymar dive in Barca shirt, he is overacting things for sure though. Same goes with Busquets, surely he overacts, but he does not dive lol, he is not playing in a position that would require that.
Alexis goes down too easily at times, but at least he does it when there is contact, Pedro even less.
Alba is the only Barca player who majority of Barca fans are ashamed of, because he is really ridiculous at times, then again 1 person is not a club.

Over in Spain do the players from Barca or Madrid ever take responsibility? Does the manager or media ever denounce them for acting / diving? Is it actually seen as an embarrasment?

I just think the attitude there is different, I may be wrong but I don't see attempts to stamp it out, it's seen as part and parcel of the theatrics of football.

For me it's a blight on the game, I hate it when my own players do it as much as others.

Media in Spain is very 2-club oriented and depending on what media, its highly biased towards Barca or Real. As for players, i do not know, all i know is that Barca plays good 60-70 games per year and if there are couple of incidents in a few games involving 1 or 2 players, suddenly entire squad is blamed to be actors divers forever. Its a stupid hype. If it was true, Real Madrid just made the worlds biggest diver the worlds most expensive player. BUt its not true, i am a Spurs fan when it comes to Premier League and i was disgusted at times how Bale was so often branded diver (becuase he had a few incidents) every time he fell. Dont think Spurs got any penalties because of Bale, because refs were so scared that it may have been a dive.
There is a lot of exaggeration in this topic, its all im saying and i will be hurt if my favourite team is accused of it more than others, while they are not guilty of it more than others.
