I think I died like 60 times on the third boss in Dark Souls before I learned the pattern properly lol. I love the first DS, haven't played DS2 yet. I started yesterday DS3 - very very beautiful scenery and music. Difficulty is the same tho, lol - more than three enemies attacking you and its a certain death, not mentioning the first boss which took me like 30 times to beat. Love.
If you are free in your dreams, then why don't you go to places you always wanted to go?

Anyone playing retro or just the big new franchises?

Say no to STEROIDS.

Preordered Dark Souls 3 aswell, can't wait to get it. The Souls games are one of my fave gaming franchises ever and I'd recommend them to anyone who appreciates a big (but fair!) challenge and has the patience to die a lot while trying and learning. If I had to rank the games myself it would be: Dark Souls > Demon's Souls = Bloodborne > Dark Souls 2.
The world design in the first Dark Souls is what makes me love it the most. It was so brilliantly interconnected.
World design is also the reason DS2 is my least favourite. The levels were just branched out with no connections whatsoever and it just felt a bit random at times. Still a very good game though.

Just read that the upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake will no longer be turned based during battle, but more akin to Dissidia's battle system - predominately hack 'n' slash. This, to me, detracts from the essence of the game, it'd essentially what made it so enjoyable through my eyes. The suspense and anticipation created through turn based battling, where FFVII was concerned, was second to none. Really disappointed by this.

Nice to see many Dark Souls fans here. Anyone on PS4?
Probably the hardest boss for me was Gehrman. I just had to adapt to him. But once I figured him out he was easy
Can't wait to play DS3

I think I died over 100 times by now, having plenty of fun though![]()

Didn't have TOO much trouble myself so far, but I'm not that far yet. Currently in the Cathedral Of The Deep, which is the hardest area so far imo.
Killed 4 bosses so far - the tutorial one, vordt of the boreal valley, curse-rotted greatwood and the crystal sage. Vordt took me the most tries (6-7), while the others were max 2.
Having tons of fun aswell. Like with all Souls games.![]()

Such a long wait![]()

The amount of downvotes for CoD reminds me of a Rebecca Black song
