    Yeah it's ridiculous. But then again Europe pretty much always gets shafted by Microsoft. A lot of Xbox Live features in the US aren't available in Europe even though we pay more for the Xbox Live Gold Service.
    The retail price for Gold has been €60,- per year in Europe. In the US, this used to be $50,-, but was increased to $60,- in 2010.
    Someone should inform Microsoft about the fact that one Euro is in fact worth more than one US Dollar.

    EDIT: Maybe it's due to taxes, we have a 21% tax rate on luxury items such as a gaming console in the Netherlands, apparently in the US some states pay 0% tax on products?! Lol... That would explain the difference...
