Two or three little kids grabbed my butt in Disneyland today.

I'm not a touchy feely sort of person. Maybe because I had too much of it before, and I just don't like it anymore. I thought the Dutch were a lot more touchy feely than Asians...maybe not Americans in general..but it depends on the individual. I like my own space, but will tolerate being "molested" by other people when it's unavoidable. Like in Disneyland.

Im not sure how many goths yous have in your countrys, but around here they never stop hugging each other. It seem the minute you buy purple eye liner and grow you hair longer than 4 inches you instantly have to cuddle your fellow goths.

Contribution to the topic : I would avoid hugging people because i do not know (and it makes me anxious) whether they wanna hug? but if the otherside hugs me first,ill hug the crap outta them! oh and no hugging guys just do the shoulder bump with the handshake (whatever that is)

let me get this straight - you would avoid hugging people unless they hug you first, but you wouldn't hug a guy? That is an interesting concept of 'people' then

haha not like that! to be more specific ,i grew up in a country where there is no concept of "hugging"! so it took me time to get used to it,i'm not saying hugging a dude is gay. haha u want huggies ? :P

i understand where you're coming from heshan, i grew up in a similar environment where there was no hugging/kissing among people, ever...i guess sri lanka is very similar (i'm from bangladesh) but even at that i grew up to be the most cuddly/snuggly person ever according a few people and they are shocked by it...

i think that a lot of guys are still under the impression that hugging another guy isn't manly or is overly effeminate...or even worse, they get anxious that the other guy might "want" them and it does make them uncomfortable...a few of my friends used to have this view but over time they have changed...now they'll greet me with a hug and/or a kiss instead of a handshake as before...idk, but maybe you would have a different view if you were exposed to a culture where this is not viewed in a negative light...just my $.02
