Classical music, New Age Ambient,Rock and Pop music and also lot's of house and euro dance. I have no regrets because I grew up listening to a lot of good tracks and songs in the past.

I used to watch far too much Kerrang TV
There were a few electronic records though that I loved and never knew the name of at the time. The seeds for me liking this music go a way back though. E.g. Robert Miles - Children.
I think the first real recognition that Trance had something about it which I liked was in listening to the Moto05 adverts that went on during movies I used to watch on ITV.
I didn't get any net at home until 2004/5 when 19/20 so only then could I really look into artist backgrounds however.
Then it happened![]()

Nice to see Ratpack in that Fantazia. Saw them a couple of years ago at the Atomik Weekender and they were very entertaining.

blues.

This was, and still is my kind of music.
Also Enya.![]()

I am sad to say it, but before trance (which is when I really started to interact with music in general), I had no taste.
^The song I was obsessed with in the 5th and 6th grades.
^Once upon a time before my iPod I had a cheap MP3 player with a CD compilation of radio-hit Christian pop on it.
^The song that defined the ninth grade.
^At this time I knew I had a taste in melodic, spacey "techno" music.
This continued for some time, until the night of my 9th grade graduation (when I was leaving the school I had known since grade 2, and a class that had become like family to me), at an afterparty on a country acreridge under a million stars, Tiësto - Elements of Life came on on a friend's iPod; a song I somehow already knew the melody to, and which couldn't have fit the moment any better.
After replaying it on YouTube numerous times, I found Miikka Leinonen - Sunflower Galaxy, and I've never been the same...![]()
