The idiocy of taking YouTube music clips offline

I know we're on a Trance forum but the OP does not mention the genre once.

The attitude which labels / artists are taking towards youtube often involve revenue streams and vested interests several magnitudes greater than the genre we're here for. At the lower end of the monetary scale you've far more to gain from youtube than lose.

And easier to find for a free download... So it still doesn't matter. The youtube clips simply lead to more reveneus from music sales and/or concerts. Just look at Gangnam Style for an understanding of how important Youtube is. The ads alone would make you a millionaire. And, as I said, Vevo-tracks (in which category most mainstream tracks are) are not accounted for in my OP.
