A little thing I do to help my focus when at the computer on a study or important task. I backup & then remove my personal settings on the browser. E.g. I delete any bookmarks I have, history & auto login fields from my favorite sites.

It helps to break those mental distraction ruts each and every one of us gets into. So e.g.

Instead of:

1. Click Facebook on bookmarks toolbar
2. Read content

It's:

1.Punch in url for Facebook.
2. Enter username & password and enter.
3. Read content.

You get more conscious steps involved and the opportunity to slap yourself before being distracted.

Ingenious little idea. Ill put this to the test next time my concentration levels are on par with that of a 5 year old.

Anyway, I'm done now. Going to open up FL tonight and chill out for bit as next weekend opens up the door to what is essentially 2 weeks of non-stop partying. Gotta love the festive holidays!

What issues are you having, mate? Are they preventing you from uploading a track/mix? Because if so, all you need to do is insert 4-5 seconds of nothing as the intro and it bypasses the Soundcloud detection system. Alternatively you can contanct them and 9 times out 10 they'll activate the upload for you anyway.

Yeah I saw that after some active googling, but thanks for helping me out anyway! Going to do that now.

Even the 5 seconds intro didn't work... So I'm going to make another mix and see what happens... I really don't understand why they do this to the DJ's that made their site happen.

Next up: Adding a sample at the start. After that, I give up.

You should, you know that already. So don't wait and ask as soon as you meet her (be sure to ask her in person, not via facebook or something like that)! The timidity will disappear with time. Practice is the key of improvement in these kind of situations. My problem is that I'm not shy, I am pretty comfortable around girls, it's just that I'm ball-less.
