This morning I experienced my biggest, irrational fear ever. I was sleeping at my girlfriends house when the alarm woke us at around 6:00 AM. She usually gets up 30 minutes before me and normally I have no problem getting bad to sleep when she's up, but this time I, for some reason, couldn't. I took my phone and started surfing a bit before finally trying again. I was lying, partly, on my stomach with my right arm to the side. For what ever reason my mind went to those videos where you have to pay attention to a specific thing and when it's over you're being told a gorilla walked through the video without you noticing. Now, in my mind I knew it was that kind of a video, so "I" didn't pay that much attention to it, but instead on that "thing" which was supposed to walk through the crowd. All of a sudden I hear very deep footsteps around me. Not in the video or anything, but litteraly around me. My mind tried linking it to the "video" in my head, but I was 100% sure the sound came from the room. I then felt a very heavy "thing" pressing down on my right arm, almost like a person grabbing it. I immediately opened my eyes only to see blackness all around me (I knew the sun was partly up, so the room was bright). In that darkness I saw white, bright things moving around and an increasingly louder voice whispering "die" and "live" at me. I couldn't move a muscle and my heart beat kept rising. The voice, which I think was a young womans voice, just got louder and louder from somewhere in the room until it screamed. I then finally woke up, for real, and was able to move. I'm 100% sure I experienced my very first sleep paralysis and all I can say is: "Yes, it is just as scary as everyone says it is." I have honestly never been so scared before.
My God ... Just reading that is scaring the bejesus out of me! Got me googling to at least inform myself if I'm gripped by such crazy visions

Definitely the case. I didn't think much about it before this night actually. I said to myself "Pff, yeah right.", but boy did I learn...

It is indeed scary as sh!t. I didn't even try getting back to sleep after what happened. It felt like an hour or so, but when I checked my phone it said 6:15 - only 5-7 minutes had passed.

I remember "waking" up seeing this shadowy ghostly thing standing over me. If i remember correctly, it talked to me, and i were stiffer than a rock. Could not move, and my eyes were wide open in terror. It lasted for about 20 seconds, give or take.

    God, i hate it.
