Still I think Hardwell will be the new number 1.![]()

Honestly guys, I did not vote to anybody. This DJ Mag stuff is a big disappointment, you can even buy votes for yourself so there's hardly a competition between the DJ's, it's just about $$$.

Dutch article including Armin, Hardwell and Tiesto about the DJMag Top 100, translated it for you: http://www.nu.nl/muziek/3605648/armi...-dj-lijst.html
Armin van Buuren thinks it's time for a new #1 in the DJMag Top 100.
"I think it's good for the list if there's a new approach", says the Dutchman, who was voted #1 DJ for five times by the influential magazine.
According to rumours Van Buuren will lose his #1 position to Hardwell this year. "I think he's going to win too.", says the 36-year-old Armin about the 25-year-old Robbert van de Corput, better known as Hardwell.
Hardwell himself awaits the results patiently however. "There's a lot of speculation, but I'm going to let it come down all on me. If I'm going to assume that I'll become the best DJ and it won't turn out that way, then it would be really disappointing."
Also Tiesto, who became the #1 for three years, estimates Hardwell's chances high. The 44-year-old Tijs Verwest, who's also from Breda like Hardwell, agrees with Armin that it's time for a new #1. "It's a good thing for the new generation. I don't have to become #1 anymore.", says Tiesto. "I'm still touring the globe and people like it when I play, that's much more important to me."
Although Armin thinks it's time for a new best DJ in the world, losing the #1 position still hurts a bit. "To be honest it's quite a pity, everyone wants to be the best of course."
Nevertheless Van Buuren stays realistic. "I'm still able to call myself #2 after I've been the #1 for five years. The music's evolving, there's new talent coming up. And I'm really proud that it's a Dutchman".![]()

Wow, would be amazing for Hardwell to reach nr1. Heard an interview on the radio today, such a cool guy. I guess he Afrojack and Nicky Romero are Dutch next big things!

History will not look kindly on our generation for turning dance and electronic music into these craps.

I don't really care who becomes number one, the Dj's which I listen to nowadays were great once or are no where of reaching the number 1 position. If Hardwell becomes number one that's fine with me, I do not listen to his tracks.

This poll gets far too much focus and attention when it should be ignored.

I pray to God it's not Armin. Because people will be deluded that a Trance artist is at number 1.
