When will every word in a dictionary be a track title? (EDM overall)
So much senseless titles out there, sure it´s common to have shorter ones in EDM, but there are so many dupes out there and it all seems so repetitive....

There are tons of tracks with unique titles. It's up to artist and their level of passion towards music.
You could ask @Nemezijus about that, he had some ridiculous combination of track titles in his sig years ago.![]()

Its pretty easy for vocal tracks, you just use line of the vocals. As for instrumental tracks, i have always had a good laugh at some ridiculous names and i think here we can see some difference between native English speaking producers and others. Americans and British producers are quite often much better in coming up with original titles, at least they make sense and have some connection to overall feel of the track. Other people just seem to close their eyes and open dictionary and see what comes up near their finger. Which i do not mind actually, it is always harder to express yourself in other language.

I love it when a producer gets lost in translation and uses an English word in their track title which makes little or no sense. I cant think of one of the top of my head at the moment, but there was definitely a few last year which gave me 30 seconds of amusement.

I guess "you" or "everything" or "feel it" are used a lot...
I dislike it more when obvious famous titles are used. Like "Superstring" for some low-mediocre track that has nothing to do with Cygnux X or Rank 1. That's lame.

EDM is quite funny. There's this track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-U1lj57pv8
If trance tracks would be named like this, Andy Blueman's tracks would look like: Andy Blueman - Violin, Cello, Contrabass, Etc etc etc
But it's so lame... You just think about a theme, and make a track with a few elements... Like 'Welcome To The Jungle (bitch)', or 'Lift Off'. Or the track's name makes no sense, and has nothing to do with the track... Like 'Animals', 'Kangaroo', 'Jackpot', 'Toulouse' etc.
But my fav... The typical 'DIS TRAK IZ SO GUD I'LL NAME IT: PARTI HURD, LEL' For example: 'Party Shaker', 'Here We Go', 'C'mon!', 'Shotgun'...
But there are original names also. Like Pryda's tracks. They have a story, a feeling, just like their names.
