Many fucked up things are done by the US. I mean, gay rights there are pretty shitty in many states as well. But if going for LGBT rights is the great trick to, there's no harm in that for me.

Analogy: We're at school together and I'm bullying someone. You know that if you can get me to stop bullying, the bullied kid will give you some of his lunch every day (and his mom makes amazing lunches). So you lobby and persuade your classmates to boycott me. I no longer have any friends as long as I bully that one kid. Now, if I don't stop bullying other kids will eventually get angry at me, so much that I would have to move to another school. So I should stop bullying. A very simple solution, but if I'm too ignorant to just stop bullying I have it coming to me that I have to change schools... And maybe you're a bit of a bully yourself sometimes, but still it's better if I stop bullying.

They not stopping them from being so that's false analogy. The second things is majority people vote for their governments.So when you vote for a government you vote based on policies. When Americans vote on politicians vote based on polices, others from the world don't go in and try to push their agendas or bully them. Majority in Russia are conservative and that's what they keep voting, Americans 'democrats" and their minions that are now have to deal with it. Same with other countries where they try to police/influence their polices. Americans are bending the other way to dictate the world and it cant hold forever.
