It's a bit of old news the writer comes up with, but def. worth the read I think. If people just let it be, nothing will be changed.
So for me it's always good to see someone critisice the commercial part of EDM and the way trance is going the last couple of years.
Anyway I can find very proper good trancetracks fortunately, because I know wich labels still released new gems. I'am very happy about that!
And maybe artists and stars in the scene are reading this article and having second thoughts about their direction in production/gigs. A (former) favorite artist of mine quoted this for example:

Roger Shah ‏@roger_shah 17 mrt. [Editorial] Chasing EDM Stardom: The Overcrowded Road Of Commercial House http://www.edmtunes.com/2014/03/editorial-chasing-edm-stardom-overcrowded-road-commercial-house/ … via @edmtunes interesting to read

And as even not really underground-producers as Ahmed Romel are worried on FB:

    Ahmed Romel

I wish Trance was still an underground genre !

Ahmed Romel yeah man , but before lets say 2008 , when you used to say Trance to someone , it was something big and pure .. now its ruined so much
Ahmed Romel The problem is the with the new "Trouse" artists claiming that their music is Trance and its euphoric but its nothing more just noises , saying trance is evolving and getting huge support which made the new listeners this that this is what trance sound like , for example , if you have time , try to listen to any ASOT radio episode or CD compilation before 2008 and see the difference between the music back then and now
