There is a difference between music as a passion or as an addiction. If you really have a mental addiction to music/trance than you have a legit problem, but you're probably just a passionate music listener. If it is your passion than it'll probably harder to not listen to music than to just listen and enjoy

I would like to hear something classic ChillTrance at this moment. When I know the time cant go back, I like to remember about childhood. 16:11 PM, June 02nd, Vietnam

If you really live with trance then yes, it is time consuming as hell. But everybody should find time for hobbies.
Not saying you should spend the whole day by listening, organizing, purchasing or searching tracks.
Just save some free time for trance. Doesn't have to be half a day or whole day.
Maybe it will sound funny, but I use Evernote for organizing my trance life.
I have notes of new tracks to check out, production stuff to do, sets to listen, videos to watch etc.
Even if I don't have enough time to handle it all in one day, I have everything noted (something even with reminder set up) and I can always continue the next day. New things aren't going to suddenly disappear from the internet.
No need to hurry and maybe miss other important things in your life.
Now something about your thoughts of quiting trance. Don't you dare to leave Trance Family!
Seriously, you would lose an important part of your life, a part of your heart. Your life would be suddenly empty without all those great things trance gives us. Come on, set up an Evernote or whatever "to-do app" account and be happy. Don't let your hobby organize your life. You organize your hobby.

It's definitely time consuming, but the free time I have to devote toward something is well invested into trance. I see it as a positive time devotion

EXTREMELY time consuming...but if you love something and have a passion for it then it's not time consuming but rather time enjoying what you love most...

    that's my view anyway

Well for me, yes it is... I like listening to most radioshow that are being live broadcast than download episodes "12:00 am start until 6:00 am", so I have no sleep most of the time... It's really dedication just to listen to radioshow just to be updated.

I have an example that illustrates perfectly what you mean: Every time i go on vacation, that i will be 20, 30 days without a computer and not able to get new music, i dedicate a lot more of time to update my ipod with new sets and tunes than to my luggage itself.

It consumes really a lot of time that you could use to make "productive" activities, but it is my life passion and i really enjoy it.
My trip to work every day would be literally impossible without music, i pass every day of my life almost 3 hours in a bus and music (aka Trance) makes it a lot easier.
