Got some strange and unexpexted news at the pub today from my old boss. He ask me If i was working at the moment, and i said no. He then gave me a job opportunity at the Hotel i was working before. Even though he said this at the Pub, under influence, i Really dont care. I'll go and see hun on Monday. They needed People anyway.

Considering on going on an oriental adventure next year. At present Beijing seem to be the most appealing as my friend currently lives there and it would make my stay substantially cheaper. It also seems as if sights are more convenient and accessible from there. Tokyo is appealing to me too.

Sounds like a huge step mate!
Can't believe this current stupid government is considering to allow 6 month off welfare payments for people under 30. I know many graduates who are struggling to find any sort of work even casual work at a supermarket or cashier job just make ends meet. Taking them off for 6 months goes against basic human rights and not to mention they are forcing them to look for work as well and on top of that they have to work 25 hours a week as well with no pay at all. Welfare payments are suppose to help people find work and I think most people definitely would like to work to earn some sort of money.

Anybody here attending Amsterdam Dance Event?
In five days, one of my very best friends - a person I love deeply - will be going on a five month-long adventure. I'm very happy for her as it's an excellent adventure - first she'll be going to Haida Gwaii and then to Indonesia, volunteering in communities there - but at the same time, I won't see her for five months, and possibly more. I was hoping to see her one last time today before she ships out, but she's busy with packing and family and had to call that off. We'll still see each other on Monday, but right now I feel....very bittersweet. Sad enough that I would cry if I thought about it too much, and happy for the person I love going on the greatest adventure of her life.
Beyond that - I might DJ for the first time ever at a rave another friend is trying to put together later this month, but I also found out today that my current measly room setup won't allow me to cue in my headphones and use speakers at the same time. Gotta get that fixed.
