Could you (and anyone else) not do that? I don't like the concept of the friendzone in general - it's bullshit. Being friends with her and her girlfriend is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I have autism (aspergers) and when I was a kid I didn't know how to have friends in my own age group at all. It was a long time before I even came close, and to some extent it finally fully happened with them. In light of that and other things I treasure what I have with them already with all my heart - sure I've felt romantic feelings but I would never let those get in the way. The "friendzone" is a product of a cultural message that encourages entitlement toward relationships with women in men (not saying whether or not that's you or anyone else, but that is where it comes from), and I want no part of it. If this is a "friend zone", then it is one of the best places I've ever been, and I want it to last for the rest of my life.

So could that be the end of discussion on that topic please?
