Cool Track![]()
Exciting Releases:
Karanda - Supreme
Rodrigo Deem - Divo / Totem
Codeko - Crusader
Las Salinas - Winston
Solis & Sean Truby - Armadillo
Slim Colt - Livi
Signal Space - Sharik

It's Sun & Moon 2.0 it seems, basically. If you stop hoping that all their work will be trance and accept it for what it is - great, emotive and melodic EDM - then it isn't too bad. If the new album has stuff on the line of Alchemy, Black Room Boy, Every Little Beat, Thing Called Love and Sun in your Eyes (especially the last one) then it should be okay.

Black Room Boy was also absolutely horrific.

Why do people want them keep on producing trance??? They already gave so much for the scene. Let them be and do whatever they like! Focus on the current trance producers, jeez
If you are free in your dreams, then why don't you go to places you always wanted to go?

I'm gonna have a rant here because I completely disagree with what your implying (no offense of course)
I honestly don't care what they decide to make as long as it has some musical integrity or real creativity/innovation. How do you go from Can't Sleep, World on Fire, Indonesia to this utter shite? It's like Da Vinci painting Ginevra then a few years later making a successful internet meme and calling it art becuase more people react to it. It is a massive step-backwards and there is only one thing on earth that can cause such a reverse in creative process like this - fame, pussy and money.
It's a song that so transparently aims to replicate the previous successful formulas that it's borderline insulting. A track designed to have that big emotional impact, relying on it's cliched lyrics, obvious and easy to learn chord progression and 'in-trend' hooks to draw short-term reactions from it's easy to please audiences. It's just so damn easy and they know it. Look at how their popularity soars as they move closer and closer to the throw-away sounds. Even the fans of this track will sweep it under the carpet in mere blink of an eye... but this matters little to the A&B trio, as along as their sea of love heart shaped hands sways in front of them each show the musical direction they have chosen can be justified. I'm sure the likes of Calvin Harris and Niki Minaj have the same thought process.
It's a massive let down for me, even though it should come at no surprise. Their sound is not a result in them getting bored with Trance or wanting to try something new. They set a very high bar in their long career as Trance A&B and if they had translated their skill and soul into any other genre no one would mind. Even if they made Metal with the same creativity and standards as Tri-State I would accept it. Musical integrity has been consciously and purposely sacrificed to meet demands of new markets in America/South America who seem to drink up this detritus as if it's the jizz of Jesus himself. As a quick big cash business move yes it's the best thing they could have done, but as an artistic move it is complete inhalation of substance, longevity and creativity; the very reason it is so awful to hear/witness...especially for the fans who grew up listening to their tracks, supporting them and setting the stones for where they are today.

I've been complaining a lot about a&b recently with their style change but this one isnt bad at all. I'd say is one of the best they've released recently. Quality one.

@Hensmon
Thanks! Couldn't agree more...
"What happnd to music with emotions?"

I fell in love with the trance, progressive house not too long ago ..but the main artist that change my pov on trance was armin van buuren, above and beyond ,andain, and the list can go on. But the track that they just released is not a bad track at all the style of it is catchy.Dont see anything wrong with it from a dj standpoint ..people have to learn how to "adapt to change" to me this feels like a uplifting trance song.
